Description
ICEM - Stockinbingal.
This cache is part of the I've Cached Everywhere, Man (ICEM) project, a series of Geocaching Australia caches in Australia. The series had it's first airing in 2011 and now in 2018 Geocching Australia is promoting the series again in the hope the number of caches in the series can be increased.
The series is made up of the locations made famous by Lucky Star in the song "I've been everywhere" in 1962, lyrics by Geoff Mack.
Stockingbingal is located along the Burley Griffin Way on the way to Temora NSW, so if you're in the area, stop by and add another ICEM to your list of finds

Many thanks for your ICEM cache placement, nice to find some GCA traditional caches,
Cache and contents in excellent condition
I think today is the first time I've ever been to Stockinbingal. Spotted the cache after a short search then just had to work out how to get it out. Eventually I just put my hand all the way in while hoping there was nothing in there that would bite me! Thankfully there wasn't!

Pulling up here today I was stopped by a local man who will probably take up residence here not too far off. At first I thought this might be a bushranger series cache so I told him I was looking for the grave of a bushranger. Big mistake because he was born and bred here and knows every grave and wasn't shy to tell me all about it. I eventually got away and took a wander around looking at headstones and misspelling and eventually arrived to this cache. I was so glad to see a pen in there because the local fellow had distracted me when I got out of the car.
A quick grab here and then on our way.
Thanks for the cache Sol de lune
Thanks
Albida
I’ve been invited to attend a special event in Wollongong on the Saturday, well why not make it a whole weekend away with some caching to go along with it. About a month ago I started looking at caches I could find along the way and noticed that if things go to plan I could make my #1000. This didn’t end up happening. I found out when I approached the GZ’s of a few of the caches I had chosen didn’t have parking space to stop and/or were difficult to find which lead some caches into DNF’s. I did however love finding all the caches I did find and to end on an even happier note the last cache I found was a FTF (GA13111)!!! There were lots of great camos and styles of hides that I hadn’t come across before and new styles for common hides that provided me with plenty of fun and ideas for new caches. Most of the caches I found were in great condition but for the rest of them, the maintenance required is log books/sheets and/or containers need replacing, camo needs replacing, D/T and coordinates need correcting. On some of the smaller logs I signed as 2/11 JM, 3/11 JM and 4/11 JM. TB visit on all found caches over the whole weekend. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found, the locations I visited and for the fun it provided me over the whole weekend!
Weekend totals:
45 Finds (41 Groundspeak and 4 GCA)
4 DNF’s and a lot of drive-bys
Cache Types: 7 (Trad, Virtual, Mystery, WherIGo, Trig-Point, Earth and Multi)
*FTF* @ 5:51pm on 4 November 2018
I was looking at my daily email from GCA this morning and noticed a new cache in Stockinbingal. As I was on my way home I thought I would stop and have a look and see if I could make a FTF. After pulling up at the cemetery, I got out and headed over to GZ to make the find with the hope of a blank log. After finding the cache I opened the log sheet and I couldn't believe it, a blank log. After signing duties were done I made my way back to the car. I will need to return when I have more time to be able to have a look around and see the graves. TFTC and the FTF!!!
P.S. Sorry about the generic log.
P.S.S. All Caches found have been logged in order and backtracked to the correct day.
