Description

Another cache, another nudie beach! This time, we're at Little Diggers beach, near The Big Banana, Coffs Harbour. Couldn't see any big bananas on the day I placed the cache - no small ones either. It's not a well used beach as access is not easy.

As you walk the Diggers Head trail, you'll see worn tracks in the grass leaving the boardwalk, heading towards the ocean. Follow one of these tracks - there's a warren of them! Most pass right past GZ.

GZ is not down at beach level, but it doesn't take long to get down there. It's a steep track down though. Feel free to nude up and smile as you enjoy this secluded little beach.

The stash is a small container with logbook and pencil. Getting a solid GPS signal was difficult because of the tree cover, so I've included a spoiler pic if you get stuck.

With Annuka taking up so much beach front we weren't really sure which was the right approach to this. After spying a walking track behind some houses we decided to give it a shot. I don't think we've ever walked a steeper boardwalk but it was going in the right direction so we followed it. Co-ordinates were good and we found ourselves at the spoiler pic. 'It's not here' says MrG but he kept poking around because this hide was a bit like the Tardis... a lot bigger inside than it looked from the outside. And it was there and in good shape. A nicely secluded beach but we didn't go down... it was getting late and we were feeling more like a pizza at Sawtell than freezing half to death. TFTC MattyRx.

My best-barista-about boy had to go to work early today. Black Apple @ Mooney Shopping Centre. I was staying at his place so had to scoot early too. Needing to stay in town for a tyre replacement, I had to find something to fill my time before the shop opened. Hell yeah, I'm geocaching!

This one was my closest GCA so I went for a walk. Right time of day for it too as it was already heating up and not even 9am! So hot I needed to strip off to sign the geocache. There is a photo somewhere in GCA land to prove I did. Haha.

I didn't have enough time to go all the way down but it would have been perfect weather for seeking an all over sun tan.

No bananas or nature that grows bananas seen at the beach from up top today.

Thanks for the cache and location highlight Mr Rx. Smile

Well, that was my exercise for the day!!!!
And I was really pleased that I had checked out the spoiler photo before heading off.
Arrived at GZ and found exactly where I needed to search. Removed the couple of bits of camouflage and nothing was revealed. Grabbed a stick and poked around but nothing!!!!
Brought the photo up again - yes, definitely in the right place. Dug deeper, gave up. Then thought, no, if it had been muggled the camouflage wouldn't have still been in there.
Another poke around on the side and finally that magical sound of a stick hitting plastic was heard.
Interesting to see that 3 of the 4 finders of this one have been Tassie cachers. Pity the GCA site doesn't get more support up this way.
At 4.15pm no rudie nudies were at the beach today.
Thanks.

Day 78 Mainland trip (now heading to OZGM)
Out and about caching in and around Coffs Harbour with Tassie Trekkers and we stopped to find this cache. We enjoyed the walk to GZ. Cache located and log signed. Thanks for showing us this area. We were watched by a few bush turkeys as we looked for the cache. TFTC

FTF! We're staying down the road at Aanuka for the weekend, grabbing our usual bag of GC caches and GCA trigs/virtuals, when we noted this one had not be found yet. I had visions of having to elbow our way through a bevvy of nude bombshells to find this, but alas, sadly today we had no muggles, apart from an older gent heading down towards the beach as we were going. No problems finding, we arrived to find a veritable forest of curly trees, so take note of that spoiler pic! Coords we actually quite good, probably averaging 7-8m out, but at one point the GPSr read 4m, not too bad at all..... TFTC MattyRx

I recently decided to sell my vacuum cleaner as all it was doing was gathering dust.
