What a lovely day to visit the Coast - not too hot, not too cold and not even busy.
We’re here to find some caches for the current February challenge. Love this cache! Well done!
And a beautiful beach too.

Visiting the beaches in the early morning. not early enough obviously. It's just part 7am in QLD and parking is already difficult. haha. At least this cache wasn't so hard to find. Thanks MattyRx

Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one of the caches we found. The 2nd cache in the geotour and the start of a great day's caching taking us on a grand tour of some beautiful beaches. Cache and contents in good condition.

Day 61 Mainland trip
Out and about caching in this beautiful area with Tassie Trekkers targetting GCA caches and this clever hide was one we found. This is the first geotour we have followed, thanks for compiling. A great way to see the beaches in the area. TFTC

Last traditional of the tour. Samboo has said a lot but perhaps not enough to say just how much we have enjoyed visiting all these different beaches which we barely look at. Its made me appreciate the beaches I do frequent, although I haven't been for a swim for a long time - Sea Shepherd keeps on trying to drag me back in the water and keeping me wet.

I must admit to being surprised at the openness of the casuarinas at this end of the beach, with thoughts of how many camp amongst them and why.

Thanks for the caches. Now to crunch the numbers for the final.

The last cache we needed for the numbers. The carpark was much better than this morning but it still felt like we walked a long way. I noticed lots of interesting things in the park -

* some exercise equipment (I don't need - I have a six pack like a block of melted chocolate),
* a little pedal train on a tracks (boring - it doesn't go anyway), and
* lots of people having BBQs in the park (hello, my name is Samboo - may I join you, I love a good picnic)

But I didn't gate crash any picnics but Max and I did have a bit of a photoshoot on the sand. Now since this is the last one for a while, excuse me while I get the sand out of places which don't normally have sand.

It was at this point of the Geotour e-bike ride that the GPS went flat. 'That's okay' we thought, 'just plug in the cable to the USB outlet'. Which would have been a clear winner of an idea if the cable/connection/whatever was working. But it wasn't. So we rode on to find a seat and work out plan B. And that wasn't a bad thing because just nearby was Woolies and Woolies selling batteries became plan B. So now with the GPS firing again we had a target to ride to, and that target was somewhere way back where we'd just come from. This is a great area for riding as the paths are wide in the spacious picnic areas and we were soon back with.... woohoo! another {FTF} at 12.10pm. TFTC MattyRx.
