Description
This cache is located in the beautiful Whiteman Park. I have driven past this little fenced area many times and i always wondered why it was fenced off. I parked next to it and could see the reason why. A Sheaok growing in the middle of what looks like the remains of a Marri tree. Quite incredible.
You are looking for a micro near by.

Out doing the orienteering course with our boys today, so thought I'd sneak in a couple of caches. My first day caching in quite a while, so I was happy to have a quick find here after reading previous logs. Thanks for the cache!
We were in the park for a Blue Switch day event and found this one by mistake looking for a nearby trad. It took a minute or two to work out that it is a GeoAust trad.

Took quite awhile for GPS to settle under many trees, looked around for more obvious spot to hide a nano.
Thank you for the cache.
In Australia the most widely used common name for Casuarinaceae species is sheoak or she-oak (a comparison of the timber quality with English oak). Male specimens bear no fruit and are perhaps therefore colloquially referred to as sheoak.
Corymbia calophylla is a large and common tree in the southwest of Australia. Originally described as a species of Eucalyptus, it was separated to a genus allied with the bloodwoods and their relations. Corymbia calophylla is commonly known as marri, a name derived from the Noongar language of Southwest Australia region, in preference to the ambiguous red gum.

I've looked twice for this cache now but have not got a good ground zero either time making the search problematic.
Can it be confirmed that it is still there.

Woohoo *FTF* @ 8:30am.
Well that was unexpected. After not finding a nearby GC cache I spotted this one was close. Haven't looked at GCA caches for some time.
Quick find here. TFTC
