Stop in to pick up this cache and take in nearby views of the Gold Coast - but be careful and watch for traffic.
I lived up here for a while in the 90s and we lived in 'paradise' and looked down on the chaos, traffic and the heat.
Take a drive up to Beechmont, Canungra and Binna Burra and see the real beauty of the area.

I had to take a quick trip to Willowvale today, so I made a bit of a detour to pick up this cache. I love the drive up here. There's some amazing views over the Gold Coast, from top to tail. It's also the gateway to some old and amazing GCA caches - I've had some amazing times exploring Binna Burra, Springbrook and Beechmont and caching showed me all the best bits. It's made me want to go an revisit some of the awesome places I've been.
Hopefully we get a bit of rain soon, it's really starting to brown off up here, just like everywhere else I suppose.
I found the cache nice and easily - such a well stocked cache and everything is in perfect condition. I thought I might be the first to find, but the logbook has already been signed: "Mark and Mitchell 3-1-19. Enjoy the safety glasses
" - and yes, there are safety glasses in the cache. I didn't take or leave anything today.
