Description

As you might expect of a WebCam cache use the WebCam and get yourself in the picture, save a shot, and post a find. Check out the WebCam before you go to get an idea of where the best spot for your photo to be taken.

Navigate to the GZ. Call your friend and have them go to this WebCam. Get your friend to guide you on where to stand then... Strike a pose wait for the image to refresh and have your friend save the picture. Include the picture in the log and that’s a FIND buddy! Find logs without proper pictures will be deleted.

Just so you know, I do not own and have no control of this WebCam.
If the WebCam is not working, a photo taken of you at the cache site is acceptable, but make sure, that you are seen in the picture, and at the cache site. If possible return to the location later and try and get that WebCam photo. From time to time the delay blows out to several minutes, hang around and keep trying. Good luck! Before to you go why not post a note saying when you are planing to go so others can tune in and watch.

This webcam was a bit tricky for us because the internet was a bit spotty and everytime the page reloaded it played another add. Dad and all the kids went through about 20 different poses, but the only screenshot Mum could get was after the kids went back to building sand castles. Massive waves here today, the kids got soaked walking along the sidewalk between the baths and Nobby's when a big wave hit the wall.

That was fun - we were in the area and realised this one was here.... so, in the rain we walked down onto the beach, only to realise it wasn't live.... so we trekked back and forth between the trailers that the webcam seems to pan between, eventually catching ourselves walking between the two, me watching the phone of course, Samuel with GPS in hand..... TFTWC...

In Newcastle for the Geocaching NSW event and noticed this one still had an FTF waiting. This was a tricky webcam as it moves! So it required a bit of teamwork. I set the crew up with the live webcam and phone and they had to direct me to stand in the right spot with hand signals. It took a few minutes to get it all together, with muggles none the wiser.
