Description
Close to GZ you'll find a little gem of a lake, Walker's Lake.
A local told me it's kept topped up by pipeline from the Grampians, and that the fishing for yellowbelly and redfin is good, especially when fresh water is coming in.
There is also water skiiing here, and I understand it can be pretty busy on weekends.
You can camp, but if you want a fire, you must bring your own wood.
The cache is a mint tin painted brown, with some magnets to hold it in place.
Visit to find the cache, but give yourself time to enjoy the place.

Headed out to this one to give it a go....and although the local spiders have/had made it home, it was still there and in good condition. Log was signed and I was back in car and heading for Mt Gambier.
Thanks for this one whheels....cache is all good.

We left St Arnaud early and as we had plenty of time made a detour into this pretty camping area. It appeared deserted so we were able to search uninterrupted.
After 5 minutes spent cleaning the spiders, their webs and eggs out of the tank stand supports we could not see any container. We looked around on the ground under the stand and after10 minutes searching were about to give up when Mrs Y'stassie kicked a lump of soil causing it to powder revealing the brown base of a mint tin concreted firmly into the ground. After chiseling it out we found it was indeed the cache container, still in pristine condition. Since it was placed only three other teams have found this cache, all Tasmanian.
Thanks for this cache WHHEELS in a lovely camping area. Hopefully others will visit soon. We replaced it as per the hint and hope that the magnets will hold it in place.

Well we were hoping for a FTF but were beaten by another Tasmanian Team! What are the odds of a cache being unfound for so long and then the FTF goes the day before!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
come on you Victorians, this has now been found by three Tasmanian teams. TFTC
