Description
Dawson River Flood Plain. D.R.F.P.
This cache is located on the Dawson river Flood Plain and hopefully I have placed it above flood level. Yoiu are seeking a small sized container not at ground level inside the tree.
You will see what I mean when you get to GZ. The hide is North of the small town of Taroom Qld. Turn onmto the black soil road and park very close to the tree, if dry or if wet park on the side of the highway and walk in.
Enjoy.

Logs
It was time for a break while on our way down to Miles today and this was the perfect incentive to do so. Once at GZ, it wasn't long before I was logging the find at 13:55 and it was time to hit the road again.
TNLNSL. Thanks youngoldfella.

Day 3 of a road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n and today was a big driving day hitting up a few GCA caches. We left Surat early and headed through Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumilla, Taroom, Theodore, Eidsvold before stopping the night at Mundubbera. All up 7 GCA caches and 30 odd from the other site.
No issues here and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed.
Thanks for another one YOF...

#GA5596 - 15:00; Day three of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending the night in Surat, set out to collect the local caches before heading further afield. It would be a long day on the road as we added dragonZones and counties to our caching maps. The many places visited included Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Jackson, Taroom, Theodore and Eidsvold and on to Mundubbera for the night. After lunch in Jackson, we headed north and collected this cache on the way out of Taroom. A nice quick find once we reached GZ, but the logbook was soaked, so added a temp logsheet with our names on it. TFTC youngoldfella

Guessing this cache has seen some water... The container was buried and the logbook saturated. Signed the front cover as that was the only place solid enough to write on. Hopefully it will dry out now it's not down in the wet murkiness. But across the road was a lovely spot to stop for lunch... even had a small plane land while we were there. TFTC youngoldfella.
