The Glenrowan Water Reserve cache is located just over the road from the Reserve so that hopefully it isn't found and disposed of as rubbish by keen Landcare Members caring for the area.

There's plenty of parking space at the entrance to the Reserve, and there's an interpretive sign which describes it, its history, the threats to it, and a vision for its future. You'll also find photos of some of the native animals you may be able to see here.

The cache is a 1 litre sistema container painted brown, containing a log book and swaps, including two dinosaurs who missed out on the race in September 2018, and would like to keep you company, and maybe end up in another cache somewhere.

You do need to use some good unsealed road to get to and from this cache.

We were continuing to meander our way towards Geelong and our ferry home when we found ourselves close by this cache. We made a short detour and Mrs y'syassie found herself looking at the cache container. She had to call on her taller partner to retrieve the container.

Thanks for this hide Whheels. The container and contents were in very good condition.

Off to the Mega at St Arnaud with LuckyL10n and this was our next stop. No problems with the find and our names were soon in the log and then back on the road.

#GA3899 - 11:35; Day one of the St Arnaud Mega trek with Sol de lune and after heading off along the highway early, we had reached this cache for our first stop of the day. Once we reached GZ, it was a quick find and once the log was signed, cache was replaced and we were on the road a again. TFTC Whheels Very Happy

We're doing a loop today from Wangaratta to Wangaratta via the painted silos. Along the way we tried to pick up as many GCA caches as possible. This one was a quick find once we found GZ. Noone about here today so a an easy search. TFTC

Oh no!!! A dirt road to this one, something we have been avoiding during this trip to the big island. But what the heck, we wanted to get all the GCA caches in Glenrowan so decided to head down it.
