Quite a few years ago when touring Egypt I found that it would be five days in Cairo before I could get a flight home. To fill in that time I did a quick trip to Instanbul and the Gallipoli Peninsular. Whilst in Instanbul I attended a belly dancing show.

We had a trip to Egypt in the early 2000s. The last meal was on board a boat and we were entertained with a belly Dancer. She was not happy. Smiled at the audience as she danced but as she turned away her face was thunder. She was looking at her manager?

We were staying in Boonah Queensland when the community parade and Christmas festivities were on. These Belly Dancers were part of the festivities. TFTC

We were at the Lismore car boot markets last Sunday and stopped to watch the Belly Dancers. They ahead from quite young to middle aged. TFTC

We were fortunate to see these very talented belly dancers perform at a Chinese New Year celebration yesterday at Mooroopna, and thought it would make a good Locationless.
