Description
A cache for those catching the ferry to Sorrento
We have used the ferry several times and enjoyed finding nearby caches while waiting to leave or after disembarking. We have also enjoyed waling on the many tracks around this part of the coast line. We placed this cache close to one of the tracks and hope that it will give cachers an added incentive to enjoy a walk in this area. It is a 200ml sistema

The find was quick but the container took some shutting!
Think it had been closed for too long with the last find being by fellow Tassie cachers Sharnies Tribe back in 2022.
After returning the hide we walked out to check out the Tandberg painting which was interesting.
Thanks 2y'stassies. Seems like GCA caches aren't very well supported in this area.

We were adventure labbing in the Point Lonsdale area today and used the opportunity to grab a few GCA caches in the area as well, this one was on our hit list. A quick find with the aid of accurate coordinates and the hint. All good at GZ, TFTFC
Weather a mixture of sun showers and rain when out after caches today. This was found during a shower so it was fortunately a quick find.

A nice day out at Queenscliffe so the first one we attempted was, of course, the local Geocaching Australia geocache. Thanks for this one here as it ticks off another LGA for my challenges.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here in amongst the secondary site listings. The cache is hidden nicely and in good condition.

Today we enjoyed a tour from Point Lonsdale through to Queenscliff and had the added bonus of finding this GCA physical cache.

Thanks to the 2y'stassies for this cache, certainly well hidden and took a bit of proding to find it.
The cache is in excellent condition after a few months being alone and unfound.
A lovely sunny morning, almost time to head home.

We took the ferry from Sorrento over to Queenscliff today and, given that this cache was right along the route into town, we decided to give it a crack.
Our first attempt wasn't so successful, a quick search in the sun didn't reveal anything and a few muggles walking by hindered things further. We decided to head into Queenscliff for lunch and get this on the way back instead.
The second search began with about as much luck as the first - a few of us scrambled around the tree and tried to uncover this sneaky cache. Alas, no result was reached and the 2pm ferry back was calling my name.
But then, in a stroke of good fortune, just as I went to leave I had one last rustle through some sticks and the cache was tucked away underneath them!
The log was signed to bring a fantastic conclusion to the day. It's not often that I get to find a physical GCA cache, so this was a welcome change!
Coordinates are spot on and the cache is in good order. We replaced as found for a new finder to hopefully check it out soon.
Thanks for placing this cache 2y'stassies!

Staying at Geelong we planned today to cache in and around Queenscliff and this was the 2nd cache we found. Accurate co ordinates and hint led to a quick find. Finding a blank log sheet - we will claim [*FTF*] @ 11.20 hrs.
