On the way back to the car on our Meehan walk today we stopped for this final cache. I'd had my eye in all day, but couldn't spot this one ..... or maybe I pretended I couldn't see it so SSR had to do the work to find his 2000th GCA cache
Thanks Alby
Thanks Alby
out and about before an event getting GCA caches with this one being converted into a tick, a sunny warm day, TFTC TNLN log dry.
After finding I Love QR Codes 2 we made our way over the river to tackle this cache. We had little trouble obtaining the information necessary to locate the cache and found ourselves in an area we have visited many times over in the course of our cache hunts.
Accurate coordinates and an obvious spot enabled us to quickly locate the cache hide. We were cautious about extracting the container, feeling this to be an ideal spot for a few little crawlers to make their winter hibernation. After several tentative pokes the container was flipped out and a sweep of the torch showed our worries to be groundless. Container and contents were in very good condition. The area was very quiet today and no muggle mountain bikers hurtled by.
Thanks for another good podcache AlbyDangles. We always enjoy a walk in this section of the reserve.

16.5 klm to get to this one. Don't know what I was thinking, taking the long way round. TFTC
Hi Alby
Combined caching with lawn bowls later in the day - NEVER AGAIN
We won our bowls and managed a few caches at the same time
An enjoyable albeit quick walk through an area that is now becoming very familiar
TFTC and cheers

Congratulations on your first podcache AlbyDangles. The GeoGSP and I were heading for our weekly walk in the Meehan Range this afternoon and I decided to see if I could quickly retrieve the coordinates for this one to see if we were going to walk close by. It didn't take long for the coordinates to be revealed and I could see it wouldn't take much of a detour to grab this one. The GeoGSP and I had a great walk in the area and just as we were about to jump back in the car we took a small diversion to grab this one. A nice quick find on a lovely sunny afternoon, we saw no mountain-bikers today but did pass a few people going for a jog 'up' one of the hills.

Nabbed this cache on the way back from Brown Mountain.
Didnt need the up hill walk, but hey it was only a little walk.

I saw 2 new pod caches appear last night as I struggled to get mine published. I made a quick call to the CO who helped me immensely and saved my sanity and laptop from a toss out the window. I knew the cache in the Meehan Ranges would probably go quickly so we left both until today as we were in town for an appointment. After the appointment another 5 podcaches had been published so a few more to find and this one was left until we were heading home. A nice walk near the noisy highway, accurate coords led to a quick find. TFTPC

We were only 10 minutes from GZ when we saw this cache published so we rushed out the door to claim a FTF. TFTC
