I've Cached Everywhere, Man is the largest cache series hidden in Australia. It is made up of the locations made famous by Lucky Star in the song "I've been everywhere" in 1962, lyrics by Geoff Mack

On the ICEM map Wollondilly comes up as Picton which is part of the Wollondilly shire.

Using info from Wikipedia

Wollondilly Shire is a peri urban local government area adjacent to the south-western fringe of Sydney, parts of which fall into the Macarthur, Blue Mountains and Central Tablelands regions in the state of New South Wales, Australia.

Wollondilly Shire is named after the Wollondilly River. The area is traversed by the Hume Highway and the Southern Highlands railway line. Wollondilly Shire contains several small towns and villages broken up by farms and sandstone gorges. To its west is wilderness and includes the Nattai Wilderness and the Burragorang Valley. The majority of the Shire is either national park or forms part of the water catchment for Sydney's water supply. The Shire provides 97% of Sydney's water supply.

Towns, villages and localities in the Wollondilly Shire are:

Appin              Bargo              Bingara Gorge            Belimbla Park             Brownlow Hill                  Buxton

Camden Park  Cawdor           Couridjah                    Douglas Park              Glenmore                                    Lakesland

Maldon           Menangle        Mount Hunter             Mowbray Park            Oakdale                                    Orangeville

The Local government areas of this shire are – Blue mountains, Penrith, Camden, Oberon, Campbelltown, Upper Lachlan, Wingecarribee & The City of Wollongong.

So, to give the justice Wollondilly deserves, I will be doing a series of caches & Virtual caches in this greater shire area.

A simple Podcache this 1 is – just listen & co-ordinates will be revealed. Cache container - regular (3.5 litre click lock container)

So, listen to the soundcloud.com/ file & enjoy.

After the BIG wet – going around to my caches & checking on them – after the fires when I replaced the cache, location was very open & a little exposed from the main road – not now due to the wet summer – the bush land has taken off in the area & back to being protected from main road - cache is A OK – nice & dry

I really wanted to visit the lookout as I can't ever remembering visiting. Then I saw 2 podcaches, and set about solving them. I was pleased when I saw their location as I really wanted to see how the bush had recovered after last years fire storm. Hopefully this new placement survives as it is really exposed and in the open to all kinds of weather, it was starting to spit as I completed the caching business. It won't blow away that's for sure. The logbook was empty and the bag was really sticky. It wasn't until I read the last finders log that I realised the sticky bag was supposed to be stuck to the lid. Great area.

well, with the fires in the area I figured I do a check on my caches in the greater area. came to GZ & it wasn't looking good Sick - was just hoping to find a molten cache but all I found was white / light grey powder Crying or Very sad & a metal end ThinkSurprisedSad of the HB pencil where the rubber sits that's it. GZ area is very burnt but have found a nice hide area just 2 metres away. so the cache will be replaced there. will replace on my next run up this way.

Woot! FTF. I couldn’t find the logbook so I signed this page. Heavy stuff, it won’t blow away in the wind. At the next cache I saw where I could have found the logbook. Smile
