Hi OldSaint
Took me a little while with this one as I couldn’t decipher the instructions. But thanks to the hint cache was soon found. Contents inside were a badge, butterfly clip, Santa patch, beads.
Log book dry and in good condition. TFTC!
Cheers

Well this was an interesting experience. We arrived in the dark and made our way to the start. After identifying the start object we spent some minutes shining a range of torches around unsuccessfully. We then tried from another level. Could not get any reflection so examined the start object closely and spotted what could have been the start markers. After 5 or so minutes we spotted another one further away, no light in the night but a contrast in colour. Maybe old eyes don't differentiate as well.
As we knew the area, having made several visits here to collect moveables we thought we knew where the end point would most likely be. We decided not to blunder around in the dark and poke our hands in anywhere where a wriggly might find a warm spot to spend the night but to return in the morning.
Having altered our route we returned early and soon spotted the markers at the start. It was not difficult to find the others and GZ. We used our walking poles to move the vegetation aside and checked the hide for unfriendly guardians. Finding the coast clear we extracted the container and signed the log.
Thanks for the cache and an interesting experience OS.

"Hello OldSaint thank you for the cache.
I have been to this cache a few times now and have had no idea on what to look for.
Thanks to a little help from you a while ago I decided to give it another go today.
I went to the corner of the deck and couldn't see anything, so i broadened my search and then found something that was out of place. It wasn't too long before I was following the markers through the bush, but then I couldn't find any more so I looked at the hint and went looking it wasn't too long before I found what the hit suggested to look for and the cache was soon found after that.

Great night cache that we managed to find our way around during the day.
Great hiding spot. Don’t know if I would put my hand in there at night but cache was retrieved quickly.

We had never seen a ‘Night Cache’ before and as the CO was in the area he very kindly walked us through how they worked. Very clever. Although we could not attempt this in the night we would certainly recommend it to other geocachers. It is different would look very good in the dark. Thanks, Old Saint, for the help and the cache. Also, we were very pleased to meet Anne.

FTF @ 1.10 pm.
We decided to head for Lower Longley to locate your new puzzle and a new GC cache that have appeared on the map since our last trip to the area. After locating the puzzle we thought we should see if we could find your new night cache (as a lot closer now than returning from home again). It wasn't night but boy it was gloomy and by the time we got to GZ it was raining or was it sleet? It was cold as well after coming from the sunny eastern shore! Mr W went one way and Mrs W the other and soon Mr W shouted he had found something to follow, and follow we did right to GZ and an empty log book. We enjoyed the hunt, it was fun. Thanks for the FTF badge. TFTNC
