Description
A Cache hidden in Spirit of the 10x HIDES - A bucket list cache for me
The cache is hidden in an area that I have long wanted to place a cache
A location where LANDCARE is trying to restore an area to useable after being used as a quarry
They have been doing this for some time and are progressing slowly
Each time I visit; changes have been made and I am looking forward to seeing the finished product
For purposes of longevity, the cache has been placed in an area away from the main restoration
You will find the cache at:
DABDEGH-IICEFF-A
The cache contains log only so please take a writing stick to sign it
Enjoy this little spot as much as I do each time I visit
Cheers OldSaint

"Hello OldSaint thank you for the cache.
This puzzle of yours was solved awhile ago, today as I was driving past I stopped off and had a look for it.
I ventured into the no go zone and after a few nervousness minutes I found your cache and got out of there.

I solved this not long after it was published. Finally had a chance to log it today. The no trespass signs stopped us in our tracks and we reassessed our direction slightly.
found it with SSR.
thanks oldsaint

I felt more dodgie than normal finding this cache but we found it and were pleased to away without collecting any buckshot

thanks for the cache
Having solved this a month or so ago, I went for a drive and when I arrived, knew I was in the right place.
Finding the cache was interesting, as it involved crossing a line of metal fence posts with signs saying "Do not enter" and "No trespassing" slightly further down the hill. Looking up the coords on theLIST shows GZ outside public land, just outside the property to which the "No trespassing" signs relate, but well into a different block of private property (though that one has no buildings, so maybe it's unused?).
Once I was in roughly the right place, the cache was easily found.
Thanks!

Found this cache while out and about today. Of course I took the wrong way into the cache, so the walk out was easier than the walk in

We decided to head for Lower Longley to locate this new puzzle and a new GC cache that have appeared on the map since our last trip to the area. The puzzle took a couple of goes before we got the green tick. We have never been in this area before and Landcare have certainly been busy improving the quarry. The gpsr had us wandering around so we thought we may be searching a while, but Mr W turned around and there was the cache. TFTP

Hi OldSaint, thanks for the cache. I was sitting at home waiting to head out to a medical appointment - follow up on the digit!
I'd already planned on looking for a cache in the general area afterwards (hopefully as long as thecappointment went okay) so I tried to solve the puzzle just in case.
It took a couple of attempts to appease the checker!
Several hours later I'd parked just a few metres off the road and headed off toward GZ, but my phone didnt want to settle so I reverted to the GPS, and eventually got to where I thought I needed to be.
As it turned out, it was a relatively quick find, but I did spend too long wandering about before I searched in earnest.
Thanks for the adventure and for showing me this area.
Cheers, EeePees.
