Description
A puzzle cache hidden in the Fern Glade area
Fern Glade Reserve is not far from the city of Burnie and is a lovely quiet area to take a leisurely walk. The Emu River passes throught the reserve on it's way to Bass Strait nearby and if you're lucky you might spot the resident platypus going about his business.
The Emu River was named by explorer Henry Hellyer who saw emu tracks in the area. The Tasmanian emu is thought to have become extinct about 1850 so no emus here for a very long time.
The cache is not hidden at the given coordinates, in order to find it you will have to solve the code below. At times the cache maybe almost impossible to retrieve without attracting attention, please try to be inconspicuous.

3 days off from work, and Geo Kid O joined me on a journey to Stanley and then down along the western explorer road towards Corinna. We have a great time finding a number of caches and driving a road I had not travelled on before.
The Western Explorer road was closed for a while and recently had been reopened with a new bridge near Balfour. Some very interesting sights along the way, with part of the road feeling more like a forest track, and other parts felt like a place where no one else has gone in the past, other than on the road. The open button grass plains were amazing along with the mountain views.
We stayed in Stanely, and the caches in and around Stanely were very good, including one walk to the top of the Nut. Gee that is a steep 400 metre walk.
Thank you for the cache which was part of our journey
Thanks sharnie's tribe for the puzzle.
Found with AlbyDangles on Day Two of the 'Bust leg of our "Kempsey or Bust" tour.
Cheers, EPs
A nice simple puzzle and a nice easy find.
Today was the second day of a road trip with EeePees.

Had the cache solved for awhile...saw the hide on approaching gz where the cache was found in top condition.
Many TFTC sharnie's tribe....cheers ST.
Pulled up at GZ but had to wait for an elderly muggle walking up the road to reach his car and leave.
Then a quick find by Mr Beetle in the obvious place.
Have visited this location many times in the past when horses ruled our world and not geocaching!!!
Thanks.
A quick "raid" on the NW Coast to look for GAs proved to be a long day
I travelled just short of the 900 km
My total finds cost me 11034 steps; 1825 calories in walking 8.58 km to make them
Left the car parked on the road and had a small walk to the cache
I had a quick find and the cache was Sainted at 1104 hours
Enjoyed the walk but didn't have the right animal with today for jump
TFTC and cheers

Even in drizzle it is a pleasant drive in this area. We had no trouble solving the puzzle and locating the cache which we found well tucked away in a sensible hide. Container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this nice little puzzle cache Sharnie's Tribe. We had the place to our selves today so could search without worrying about nearby muggles.
once at the ground zone and using the hint, it led to a quick find and signing of the log. this was a very beautiful area and exploration of the area was much enjoyed.
