Another wet day in New England.... we decided on a morning in Uralla, so packed thermal layers and raincoats and set off. The mercury barely touched 10 all day, and it felt like zero at the most when the wind picked up, we still managed 20 finds (5 GCA, 15 others) before a light lunch at a local cafe...
As we pulled up we identified the hide style, and then hint confirmed it for a quick find.... TFTC, the cache is in good shape....

Visiting Uralla on my way North East to work at the sugar mill again. Bit cold and wet today but that's not going to stop me finding a few geocaches whilst here. This one was quick and easy. Literally a park and grab if I had a passenger. Haha
#GA5205 - 15:220; Day 11 of a road trip with Sol de lune for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega and we are now headed for home. After spending the night in Glen Innes, we headed south caching our way through Ben Lomond, Guyra, Armidale and on to Uralla. Enjoyed the $10 lunch special at the Thunderbolt Inn before tackling the local Adventure Lab a few more of the local caches, including this one. Found the road to the lookout and made a quick find and sign at the summit. TFTC whitewebbs

Wow! not one but two new caches in Uralla. And then a dilemma... do we go for the FTF or keep them for when we're desperately looking for caches to log for the next game.. ?? Clearly we can't help ourselves with FTF's, especially when the double dragonzone bonus is on, but first we had to get back from the Gold Coast.
Uralla Lookout used to have big wide views. Unfortunately trees have grown a bit too well and block a lot but there's still a good view through the cleared powerlines. The lookout also used to have a large cross that was switched on for Easter and Christmas but once again.. the trees. Worth a visit and if you're feeling a bit lazy [ahem] you can drive to the top. {FTF} at 2.08pm. TFTC whitewebbs.
