Description

Have a photo taken climbing over a stile to access a geocache

During the few years I have been geocaching I can recall having to use a stile to cross a fence to find a geocache on at least five occasions.

At two of them the geocache was actually hidden on the stile.

I’m looking forward to seeing your photographs so I can see how stylish you are.

CONGRATULATIONS 2y’stassies on being the first to claim the honours here.

Each stile can only be claimed once.

Today we visited the geocache The Macquarie @ Cressy GA27550. Initially we thought the cache was going to be on the stile but it was on a pole nearby and it involved climbing the stile.
With a decent stretch you may have got it without climbing the stile but we took the easier way which qualified us for this find as well.
Thanks Cybergran.

We walked the coast to coast track in England. So MANY stiles there. This is just one of those near Richmond that we had to climb.
Nice to revisit our trip.

Headed out for a walk today with the plan to head to this stile. I have few caches in the area but haven't walked up this way for a while. No problems grabbing a couple of photos as no-one else was around here either.

Thanks again Cybergran V...

On April 19th GLISS! And I went out on the hunt for a Tankengine cache, whilst we stretched the legs a little. On our first approach we came across an animal graveyard of sorts, so instead decided to wander down a little to this conveniently located stile to make our entrance into the reserve. A peaceful meander soon had us at GC5DVQA - Wondrous Wall IV and our mission was complete. An all round lovely caching adventure - made doubly fun as it makes us eligible to log this cache! Thanks for the cache Smile

Mrs y'stassie had to use a stile when looking for the cache GC87DDX Meandering The Westwood near Hagley. There are many stiles across fences near rivers in Tasmania to allow people to go fishing for trout. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. There being no other entries, we will claim {FTF} at 11:55. Thanks Cybergran V for the cache.

I just wanna say thanks for this cache - I've never encountered the word "stile" before, and thanks to googlepedia I am now educated. I was originally thinking "what, a turnstile?" which was close. I can't for the life of me think of any stiles that exist anywhere near me, but I bet I start seeing them everywhere now....

Cheers! riokun Very HappyClan Cerberus

Whilst out caching with dalerious yesterday we were at a GC cache called On The Border, there is a stile to cross to the cache. Actually it isn’t necessary here as you can access it otherwise, but it’s more fun to do it this way.
I made the cache a difficulty of two because you do have to virtually climb off the ground to get across the stile.
