Description

Take a photo of something that stands out because it is different from all the similar ones around it

We have a lot of painted cows in the Greater Shepparton area, which led to cdmark making a Locationless called Mad Cow Disease. They are scattered throughout the district, and are moved from place to place by the local council. Some disappear for a while and come back painted with another scene on them.

Walking through the park the other day, taking photos of them let me notice one that dared to be different, which gave me the idea to create this locationless.

When you take your photo you don’t need to be in it. It should be something you see in its natural position, not something you set up deliberately just to log this cache! And it should be a photo taken since this cache was published.

For example we have one daffodil that is a totally different colour to all the others in the garden.

Congratulations to OldSaint on being quick to click the shutter and claim FTF Honours

It's me! I am the different one here. 2y'stassies had one of their Curse the Hider caches here and at the time we thought this photo was hilarious. It's just across the road from the RSL in Railton

One that dared to be different-a white duck amongst 2 brown ducks. At our resort where we live in Logan Village Queensland.

Our great grandson being different and wanting to be as the other tall people.

While I was on my recent trip visiting my cousin in Adelaide, we drive to Goolwa for a morning birdwatching. Spotted this Yellow-billed Spoonbill with a huge number of Teals (Ducks).

His thoughts:- "If my head is tucked in, you can't see that I'm different"! TFTC

Spotted one green scooter in amongst all the orange ones outside Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. Photo was taken while I was in the tram!

If you look carefully you can see four plovers pretending to be seagulls in this flock. Very Happy

Lucky us are not in lockdown so today we headed out to grab four caches that weren't too far from home. We were travelling to Lovatts Flats near Sassafrass in NW Tassie to grab a puzzle cache we had solved when we decided to see if we could get down to the Mersey River which was in flood. We couldn't get there but at the spot where we turned around there was a large paddock with four rugged horses and one very large white cow. Not another cow in sight either. Perhaps this cow would like a rug too as it was obviously hanging out with the horses.
Hope this qualifies as something that dares to be different.
Thanks.

Lets be honest I needed an "o" and this was the only one available. I scrummaged around in the rain and found a plant that dared to be different. I had a line of plants and one died so now there is a gap which is filled temporarily by a potted Daphne awaiting my decision of what goes in the gap or do I have to move one of the red plants over to fill the gap. tn_56121430181.jpeg

Checking out a few locationless caches to fill in the day and get a geocaching fix and came across this one. The photo in the gallery was taken when caching in Moonbi after attending Queanbeyan Mega and before Cataract Park Mega 2019. The obvious black sheep stood out in the flock. TFTL

Whilst caching recently in the Murrumbateman area, we came across a horse among a herd of goats. In colour and size, the horse was certainly daring to be different. Was the horse only kidding? Thanks Cybergran V for the cache.

Amongst all the cows painted like Nemo, Shrek, a mermaid, one in bikinis, and other strange art works, one cow at the moment is just painted to look like a normal cow - definitely daring to be different.
It sort of symbolises to me in this very multicultural city, how different we all are, how well we all mix together, and the odd one out on this occasion, is the one that naturally belongs here.
