Description
A spot that has something for everyone.
Close to the river this spot has picnic and BBQ facilities as well as playground equipment, a boat launching ramp and swimming access. When the cache was placed the temperature was -2 and the grass and trees were coated with frost. In summer it is a cool place to spend a quiet day by the river. Great river views 10m from the hide.
You are looking for a 400ml sistema.

Hi 2y'stassies...my last cache for the day after leaving home at 0530 on a journey out to the NE and surrounds.
Drove around 640km stopping briefly for caches only, finally arriving home at 1800.
Being late in the day the area was muggle free so made a quick find with cache in top condition.
Many tftc...much appreciated...cheers ST.

A Day out with Oldsaint finding some GCA caches for the new Blitz Event. The day was amazing, from snow to blue sky, from heavy showers to dry roads. One leach to report though!
Started the day at 6am, although Oldsaint had driven from Huonville by then. The drive north was interesting, and even though Symons Plains had a race day on, nobody was there at 8am
Proceeded directly to our main target, the Sail Boat Geoart, and completed about 9 before the heavy shower set in, so we decided we could drive to the last during the shower and work our way back. At the last we we greeted by a large amount of snow on the sides of the road, and throughout the tree. We occasionally got "snow balled" from trees above as we were caching. Great day out.
According to the rules of Blitz
Blitz is a dragonZone encounter where you find as many unique valid dragonZone geocaches as you can during a set period of time in an attempt to earn a reward.
Rewards are in the form of dragonZone points but are only awarded if the entire team of geocaches who are playing dragonZone combine to exceed the total number of finds required.
If the entire team of geocachers who are playing dragonZone reach or exceed the total number of finds required then at the end of the game you will receive a number of dZ points based on your percentage contribution of unique finds.
For example:
Make 1% of the total finds, receive 1% of the total rewards points.
Make 5% of the total finds, receive 5% of the total rewards points.
Make 10% of the total finds, receive 10% of the total rewards points.
dZPoints will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
The more unique geocaches you find the more you are rewarded.
Geocaches you find during the game must have been hidden and published prior to the game announcement.

There was no way we were tackling the nearby cache, but this one was a different story. A quick, muggle free find as we head to Launceston furniture shopping.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Easy drive by today on my way back from Scottsdale. Signed and returned to it’s hiding spot. TFTC

A well hidden cache but no one around today. My first cache find in a few weeks. TFTC
This was certainly a cool spot this morning with the river running a bit higher than usual. But there were still people about, you'd think they would have other things to do on a winter Sunday morning. A quick find with accurate coordinates and a great hint. TFTC
We were in Launceston for the day and on our way back to the northwest coast we decided to call in and grab this cache and take the scenic route home.
There was only one person in the park which made searching very straight forward, looked at hint and cache was found in under 2 minutes which was quicker than expected. TFTC

Took a little while in muggle heaven even on a sunny winters day. People out at the bbq. had to be sneaky.

I was hoping for a first to find as I didn't think that anyone else would be foolish enough to go out in this weather but as the cache is appropriately named, I am not surprised that I was beaten with this one. Congrats to Cybergran for being brave enough to get here first. Having said that this little cache took me much longer than it should have, really well hidden and although the hint helped it didn't !

Thankyou ever so much 2y’stassies for placing this cache here for our enjoyment.
Yes it was a cool, misty rainy spot this morning but a must do find.
Muggle Hubby was cleverer than I but that’s not unusual.
We are enjoying your lovely island, staying with our son and is wife in Hadspen, and introducing our grandchildren to this island state.
A great three generation trip for us.
