Description
This cache is dedicated to my good friend Mel, who loves camping and caching.
Cullen Point is situated on the east coast of the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Arafura Sea.
Anyone can camp here after obtaining permits and paying camp fees either at the campground in Weipa or the local store in Mapoon. The area boasts beautiful white sand, blue skies, aquamarine waters, cement slab campsites and clean flush toilets and showers. If you are not fanatical fisher people, it is a haven for rest and relaxation.
The cache is a camouflaged key holder that has lost its magnetism.
The terrain rating takes into account the road conditions met on our way north to the GZ but not necessarily those at GZ. The T rating at GZ is 2.5.
