In line with amendments made to requirements for listing and finding a Locationess geocache, this geocache has been reviewed and found not be in line with the listing requirements.
https://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Locationless_cache
Armchair style Locationless caches where the finder is not required to explore the real world, identify a location and accompany the "Find" with photographic evidence are no longer accepted.
A Locationless cache listing must require the finder to locate an object or perform a task in the real world, collect the co-ordinates and log the find with accompanying photographic evidence.
The geocaching community would like to thank you for listing this Locationess geocache and congratulations to all that found this locationless geocache.
As the geocache no longer meets the requirements we will archive the cache listing.

Well it’s been a while, but I do remember my meeting with the detective to start off the Mystery at the Museum challenge, finishing with those controversial 35 additional finds!!

It's been a while since I met the detective, but I did get briefed on the case way back in July.

This game looked a lot of fun and I hope had can look at this style of game as a potential one in the future. Sadly I got on board way too late and will likely only get this detective one
We met the detective and acquired our souvenier whilst completing some geo art,
Many Thanks Old Saint for creating this locationless.

We admit, we love a geocaching game but Mystery at the Museum would have started and ended with our two local unfound caches if we hadn't decided this was the perfect excuse to take a day off to go caching. Fortunately one of those two local caches had the detective and we could see what the next part of the game was and where we'd be going for it. We were briefed on 12/7/19. TFTC OldSaint.

I was quite late in collecting the 'Detective' souvenir, so I am struggling to find the clues and gems before time is up. Anyway, I can claim a find on this one. TFTLC
We were fortunate to be on the road when this game started and it didn't take long to ge to the briefing. Image of the souvenir has been added to the Gallery.
Thanks for this cache. I first qualified for this cache about 11pm the night before we left home on our journey north. As I wasn't sure that I would be crazy enough to go to the Event held in ACT, I published an event for the following afternoon at Ponto Falls. I had a great afternoon with two wonderful women who had travelled all the way from Mudgee to attend. What crazy people we geocachers are.

I was in Geelong with teamashy when this started and had plenty of caches to choose from in the area. TFTC

I went along to Budgies event to get the souvenier. Thought that would be the end of the museum game for me.
We attended an event in Canberra while we were in town and had this souvenir about 30 minutes after the game started.
I ventured out for a late night cache event the night the museum jewels were stolen - so I managed to meet the detective very early on in the game. Have since managed to find the jewels and return them to their rightful owners. A fun little adventure! Thanks for the cache to celebrate

This Mystery at the Museum has caught my interest. Haven't got far yet though. Will be keeping an eye out for which caches contain what TFTC!
I had to make a special time to find the detective, the jewels have been easier for me to find as they were closer to home. Photo attached TFTC
We encountered the Detective while returning from the OZGM. Thanks for the fun locationless.

We found a cache while on our bushwalk last weekend and when I logged the find that night, bam, a new souvenir. I wasn't really aware of this 'game', although I had noticed the info in the corner of several cache listings put didn't pay it any mind. I'm not sure if I'll go the whole hog on this Mystery at the Museum task but nevertheless, it has given me an extra smiley because of this locationless.
Thanks OldSaint.

Whilst chasing a FTF on a GC cache at Molyullah we discovered when we logged it that this was also the detective part of the Mystery at the Museum. That night we searched to see where the clues were hidden.
