Description

This is certainly the area to visit for adventure and fun. Within walking distance of this cache is the Cable Waterski , the Armour and Artillery Museum, Tjapukai and the Skyrail. No one could ever be bored here, there is something for everyone - adventure on water and in air or the rich history of the world's oldest living culture or the largest display of its kind in the southern hemisphere if you are interested in world military history.

If this is not enough for you then not far south down Captain Cook Highway you kind find Go Kart hire and mini golf.

Added to this now is geocaching. The D rating reflects the muggle value of the cache GZ. Please ensure you replace it carefully. It is NOT magnetic.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 28. Cairns section Day 12. Today I joined Smitten Granny for caching in the Northern part of Cairns, from Redlynch to some of the northern beaches. We targeted caches that I had missed on previous visits and some of the newer ones in the area. The rain held off for the morning and we stopped caching after lunch at a Trinity Beach Bakery.

This one was missing last year, but as it has been recently replaced, I decided t stop by for another look. All good today.

Thanks for the cache Smittengranny

I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 4. After a few days Diving I had two days to spend before my next trip. I hired a car and went on a bit of a trip after some early caching around Cairns and the Northern beaches. First stop was Kuranda, then Mareeba, Mt Molloy and down to Pt Douglas for dinner.

There were a couple of benches to check out, but I files to locate this one.

Thanks

We visited the skyrail and then the geocache, but alas we could find heither hide nor hair of the container on any of the seats around the area. This one may need a checkup as it may have come loose and been swept away as trash.
