Description
It was near this seasonal river that Burke, Wills, King and Grey made their most northerly camp during their bid to cross the Australian continent from south to north. They arrived here on 11th February 1861 having taken 57 days to travel from Cooper's Creek. Gray and King stayed in the camp beside the Bynoe River guarding the camp, hile Burke and Wills unsuccessfully tried to push their way through the mangroves to reach the coast.
Now you need to find the cache that is guarding the Bynoe River.
Remember to BYOP.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 67. Burketown to Normanton via a long dirt road, that had a bit more bitumen than I expected. Not much to see except some creek crossings and the final Burke & Wills campsite. After setting up in Normanton, I went out to collect my one cache for the day.
After several hours of steady driving, I was happy to reach this area with a few caches. I pulled up, and apart from being on the wrong side of the road, was happy to locate this one in the named location. All well here.
Thanks for the cache Smittengranny
