Description

We camped in this incredible area between the wonderful red and white stately mesas. It was dry when we were there but a lovely swimming pool and waterfalls can be found here after rain. So it was that it was very important to the local indigenous people - the Guwa. In fact it has been a sacred meeting place since the Dreamtime.

It is for this reason that this micro cache has been hidden off the ground and away from the waterhole.

You are encouraged to walk in towards the pool site around which can be seen the art works from centuries past.It is a beautiful area and with care it is possible to climb to the top of the mesa overlooking the GZ and gaze out over the surrounding areas.

The ratings reflect the isolation of the area and the walk that some may encounter to reach GZ. Enjoy but please respect the area.
