Description
As soon as we turned onto this road I knew what the name of the cache would have to be. Ok the spelling is a little off, but a bit of poetic licence here.

The history of the song and words is as confusing as that of Waltzing Matilda. Who knows who wrote the words and who were they written about? Then there is the divided theory over the composing of the music. What an intriguing coincidence this all turns out to be. I'm sure the locals are strong in their unified beliefs regarding Waltzing Matilda, but what of Annie Laurie?

This is a public road but the paddocks are not fenced. Where does the private property start and end? For this reason the cache is very close to the road. When planted it was a bright gold bison. And I certainly wouldn't recommend attempting this cache after rain.
