Description
On previous occasions we have camped here, but today it was for a cuppa and to place a cache. Unfortunately there were too many muggles for me to put it elsewhere so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts where it is. There have been many floods over the years on the mighty Warrego river and even after the levee had been strengthened in 2008 it could not stop the 2010 nor the 2012 floods. I wonder if you can find the cache beforre the next big flood that must be due soon.

Mrs y'stassie spent some time searching unsuccessfully for this cache. We hope it is still there but it evaded us today. No floods yet.

I found this one a bit to the west of where the GPS was taking me. No water at all here today, so it's a long way off flooding!

Nice campground here in Augathella. We enjoyed our tour around town.. for such a small place it has a lot of sculptures and artwork. All good with the cache, thanks Smittengranny.

Heading north with caravan in tow we pulled in and blended in well with the caravanners already set up. A quick find and on our way. A great spot to stop but too early for us today.

In Augathella today as part of our QOGM2022 preparation duties and stopped near by for lunch. RoddyC and hatzofff and myself searched and searched but could not locate this one. I have replaced it with a eclipse tin with log inside a clip seal bag. To add a bit o weight placed a rock on top in a good spot at GZ TFTC

On my way home from Blackall, I was warned top keep an eye out here and sure enough a new cache popped up as I headed into town. I was a bit worried about campers on the common, but it was fine, it is over the levee. A nice spot to get a cache. *FTF*
