Description

This sculpture was commissioned as part of the World Expo 88 Human Factors series. It was one of many sculptures created by Artbusters under the leadership of John Underwood. The series is a collection of human-scale figures portraying people in evetyday situations. They range from the drovers to people sitting on park benches to Butterfly catchers to the Juggler. Originally they were scattered around the Expo site but many have since been relocated sround the State.

All you have to do to log this piece of art is take a photo with your GPS or you showing the sculpture. Happy caching.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 91. Tully Day 5. Trains Day 5. Train from Longreach to Brisbane day 1. The train was leaving at 10am, so after a slight sleep in, I headed out for a bakery breakfast and then the LAB at the train station before waiting for boarding. We made it to Rockhampton just after midnight.

Whilst in Longreach I was happy to stop at this display for an image.

Thanks for the cache Smittengranny

Interesting sculpture, but the bakery across the road was a real highlight!

We remember seeing some in this series of sculptures at Expo 88. There was a woman back on looking through a window and if she hadn't been painted white I wouldn't have known she was a sculpture. Wonder where all the others went.. ? Interesting virtual, TFTC Smittengranny.

Heading the long way home after 9 nights in Blackall Qld for QOGM 2019.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find. GC caches are a few far and between on these outback roads.
