Description

...and all the other crazy creations at Hernani.

About halfway between Armidale and Grafton, near the little villiage of Ebor lies a locatily called Hernani. And it's home to some creative types. As you drive by look closely and you'll see lots of wood carvings and quirky art. Look closer and you'll see just how long it must have taken to make these interesting bits of clever craftmanship. And there's heaps. To start off you see just a few pieces, then more, and on closer inspection there are small treasures hidden everywhere. A lot like a game I've heard about...

This cache is hidden near the knickers. Over the road from them to be exact. You're looking for a regular sized container with logbook, pencil and a heap of swapsies. Bonus points if you pose with the knickers, wearing only your knickers and upload a pic to the gallery.

It's a great spot to stop and stretch the legs - just mind any young ones near the road. Hope you find this spot as interesting as I do.

This cache was hidden during the 2020 January dragonZone Game Celebrations.

We had spotted these sculptures OK the way up to Cathedral Rock and determined to take the time to pull over and investigate on the way back. We spent a bit of time looking over the various ppit so interest. It's funny how you keep spotting more the longer you look. The kids were pretty impressed by the toilet up the tree.

We found the cache and headed back on our way after the fun diversion.

Thanks for the cache!

I took the back road from Dorrigo to Ebor via this cache today. It was an beautiful scenic drive. At one point I freaked out that I was about to cross the Victorian border without a pass, but thankfully is was The little Murray river and not the big one. I had to stop there and enjoy the burbling brook and bell birds for a bit.

Arriving at GZ I saw a number of interesting creations and was tempted to climb the stair way up the tree. However huge dark clouds were getting closer and closer So I moved on to Finding the geocache. I had only just got back in my car when the sky broke open and plummeted down upon me with an icy attack.

I did have time to quickly make my own wooden figure to join the rest. See pic attached. But there was no way I was up for the bonus points challenge - there's a house right there and a constant flow of traffic! A bit easier for those born with male bits I think. Haha.

Cache in very good order. Thanks for making me take a route I've never taken before.

On an Australia Day weekend road trip wit Pprime, Fangsoki and 1Minnimoo and this cache was added to the list. The cache was easily located and we took some time to admire the artwork over the road. We will claim the *FTF* honours on this one.

Thanks MattyRx for bringing us here.

I talked about underwear for 30 seconds to a few friends - it was a brief discussion.
