Description

A small cache placed near the crest of Briar Banks Road not far from Tea Tree. I came across this road and its lovely views whilst out catching today.

I suggest approaching from Back Tea Tree Road as the other end (Tea Tree Road) is badly rutted and could get boggy in the wet.

The cache contains a log sheet and pencil but no swaps.

Another cache in excellent condition despite not having been found for over a year.
I couldn't reach this one so had to call Mr Beetle over who was busy enjoying the great views from near GZ.
With such a long time since a find I did poke a stick around in there first in case an animal had decided to make this his home.
Thanks.

"Hello gooseandegg thank you for the cache.

Today I had a bit of time to fill in so I went for a drive to find this cache.
On the drive here was a few times I wondered if I should be here, but all was good.
What a lovely spot and thank for bringing me here.

Found this one today whilst working in the Richmond area travelling between customers. Upon arrival at ground zero the hint item was quickly spotted, being short I had to climb to locate the cache container. Signed the log and continued onto the next customer. TFTC Clan Cerberus

After finding Nice View Out the Back we followed our GPS to this cache. We had not been up this way before and enjoyed seeing the variety of properties along the way. Mrs Y'stassie went to look for the cache while Mr Y'stassie turned the car. Shortness of stature is a definite disadvantage at this hide and Mr Y'stassie had to be called to retrieve the container. All was in good condition.

We had just returned to our car when a friendly local stopped to see if we were OK. We assured them we were and that we were just exploring the area and enjoying the view.

Thanks for this cache Gooseandegg and for a chance to explore another part of this end of the island that we had not visited previously.

After finishing grandchildren duties at Dulcot we headed off to locate a couple of new caches that had been placed in the Tea Tree Area. It was a pleasant drive, even in the drizzle, onto a road I don't think we have ventured up before (have found a cache in the pine trees on the main drag) and up to GZ. It was a reach for Mrs W but cache was located and signed. When we turned around we went "Wow" look at that house on the hill. Thanks for the new cache in a new area with great views. Recommended.

Hi goose
Dropped Mum of at dialysis and then headed for Taranna
Called into the Bream Creek Farmers' Market, dropped Anne off and then headed for this cache; finding your mate's cache on the way
Arrived at GZ and had a bad case of dejavu - I think I'd found caches in this area before
Found the cache quickly, signed the log and replaced it as found
The cache was Sainted at 1220 hours
Great views - then headed for "An Avenue of Trees"
Thanks for the *FTF*; I keep forgetting to log on my phone; but I hate doing it that way and so usually wait until I get home
My apologies to the Aus's
TFTC and cheers

Thanks for the cache gooseandegg.
It was the first day of daylight savings, and yet the weather was a little bit ordinary. The GeoGSP and I were a bit bored at home, and finally we decided we really needed to get out of the house and find some caches. We sort of went all over the place, but this and another cache nearby were targeted towards the end of the afternoon. A nice quick find at GZ. Nice views from this spot.

Well, we did our best and tried our hardest only to be beaten by an Old Saint!
We have driven on the Back Tea Tree Road many times but never on the Briar Banks Road - these small rural roads often lead to nice surprises and the view from up here is well worth the visit. Thanks for the cache, Gooseandegg.
