Logs
Had a good look here but couldn't find it. Looks like it's been flooded again?
Picked this up on the way home from camping at Petal point for the weekend. TFTC
On a fun day out with SSR, Mrs SSR, GooseandEgg and Tollman we roamed the area looking for treasure. SSR pretty much summed it all up in his log so I'm going to be terribly boring and say "Ditto"

Over from ‘The Mainland’ for a caching weeekend with Goose&Egg.stainless steel rat, Mrs SSR(reluctently) And Mr/Mrs TazScout.
Wow there was a serious flood through here. As a group we decided to replace the cache, we looked for a long time but no find.

Hi Robtas, As Andy said in his log, after an extensive search by four teams (seven people in all), we eventually decided to replace your cache here. We are not in the habit of 'throw downs' without permission at all but it has not been found since the floods and so we hope you appreciate our actions as 'community maintenance' as intended.
It would have been amazing to have seen this river in flood

While on a trip to the northeast we got together with myself Mrs SSR GooseandEgg 1Tollman and Tazscout to grab a few cache and this was one of them we found today.
Now this one we would see the evidence of the flood waters that have been thru here last year but no cache, it was the same flood that carried away so many of the caches along the Wilmot river which we did end of lat year and the start of this year, while doing this we replaced with permission of the CO's any we found missing.
Now we didnt ask Robtas if we could replace this one and with no signal at GZ we had no way to ask either, so with four caching teams standing at ground zero we made the call to replace this cache since we were here and I had a spare cache matching the description in my bag, if the CO Robtas is not happy with our call then please delete my log.

Having picked up numbers 1 & 2 in the series, and as I was in the area....no way I go by without stopping. Good quick and all was good, although I see you are still using the same sort of magnets....bugger me, they are strong. Yep, computers....
Thanks again for the cache.....

Heading back to Scottsdale from Mt William NP we stopped in Gladstone and unhitched the caravan to explore a bit more.
This was the last cache we found here, after crossing this bridge a few times in the last week.

A quick find with the aid of a good hint! A lot of vehicles travelling over the bridge today! TFTC
Hi ROBTAS
This was a very quick find; logging the cache at 1335hrs after enjoying the atmosphere at the Gladstone local round lunch time.
TFTC and cheers

#GA1 - 12:45; My first GA cache find and where better to make it than in the area I grew up. I have crossed the river here many times, over the earlier wooden bridges now gone, sometimes as the water level was rising as a flood moved down and other times when there was little more than a trickle.

I could see that the armorguard had been replaced and that there was vehicle debri all over the place, would not like to have been in that car. Cache was well camouflaged and I nearly missed it. Good one RobTas
Grabbed this cache on the way back from Anson's Bay. The armco has been repaired since UncleTom was here last, and the cache remains undisturbed. TFTC!
Someone has certainly tested out the crumple zone on the armco. The wooden posts had sheered off as intended, but the car must been quite a mess nonetheless. Found the cache quickly and easily. TNLN. Thanks, Robtas.

Somebody has had a nasty accident here and taken out all the armco for quite a bit. Cache still fine however.
As we approached GZ, we were concerned that a careless motorist had rearranged a protective barrier and may have destroyed the cache. Thankfully, RobTas had anticipated the problem and had placed the cache away from the impact. A quick find and we were on our way
Stopped and had lunch here and quickly nabbed the cache. A very silty shallow river. Thanks.

Found this cache without realising there was one here!
I'd pulled up here to look at the river and noticed something
We had been driving all day (I decided to drive home from Bicheno via Ansons Bay, as you have to do sometimes and this was a needed rest spot.
Sorry I've been slack in logging it, I found a heap of caches marked FOUND in the GPS that for some reason I thought I'd logged!

Was a perfect stop for me, both to stretch my legs and to refill on my limited water supplies.
Cache found quickly with no dramas, thanks robtas.
