Description
This cache is part of QOGM 2019's Turd Trail along the Neverfail Road. We trust you enjoy a caching experience with a little difference.
I read an article called Embarrassing English Errors Ep17 – Turd & Third, and thought - "could have a bit of fun with that!"
Hence the development of this series. It is just meant for a bit of fun.
All caches are actual cow pats which have been dried naturally, and coated with varnish for preservation. Please treat with care so others can enjoy the fun.
Caught at Turd Slip is the story of cricketer turned avid geocacher Avril Goatit, whose passion for the game of cricket has found new directions in geocaching once he found his first turd cache on the Neverfail Road in Central Queensland.
"I was at the top of my cricketing career when I made my double century at Lords Cricket Ground a few months back, and I was basking in the glory and accolades heaped upon me. Then one day shortly afterwards, a friend of mine, a certain youngish old fellow said that I should try to get a real life and go geocaching."
"Geo-what?" I said?
"Well, to cut a short story even shorter, he took me out west in his big blue beast as he called it, shoved a GPS thing into my hand and said 'Follow the arrow until it beeps, then shortly afterwards when the zeros show up, you'll be a Ground Zero. Look for some turd.'"
"He added: 'Firstly, there's excitement of not knowing exactly where you are stepping because your eyes are glued to the GPS. Take care not to slip on any loose branches.' I did - my first slip."
"He continued: 'Watch out of the land suddenly falls away. Slipping down an embankment really tests your sense of balance.' I soon found out what he meant."
"That's when I accidentally stood on what I soon found out to be the cache, and it slipped out from underneath my foot and landed right on top of the GPS thing I was holding right here in my hands. Magic! Sheer magic! I was hooked right from the moment the cache was caught at turd slip!"

Thanks for this cache RoddyC. We continue on in the hope of reaching our goal.
Today we headed out to complete the Heartland and Mailbox series. 250km round trip out of Blackall. We saw several graders, water trucks and rollers out on the roads. Also lots of cattle, Emu's with chicks, Kangaroos.and a white faced Heron.
Thanks.
Albida
It's a perfect camouflage in that area, and we loved it.
Could imagine how much work went into these containers! Awesome!

Found while attending QOGM 2019. A brilliant series of caches whose descriptions and names were obviously written by someone with a sharp, (or should that be warped?) mind/sense of humour. Very clever play on words at each cache. Thanks for these great caches RoddyC and 1Muggle (creating these caches must have been such fun for you!!!
Attending the QOGM event 2019 we teamed up with Cache Hunters to complete the Turd Trail.
No turd tossing here.
Many thanks RoddyC,1muggle and QOGM2019 for publishing and creating this cache and adding to our geocaching experience. A memorable trail that we all enjoyed.

for the series, especially the lucky people who were given the right to claim to find on individual hides. I was part of the placement team for the series and we had a laugh and a ball placing these.
had heaps of fun along the way. Thanks heaps RoddyC & Co for a great series and
a fantastic time.

What a great, fun series of caches. So much mirth along the way.
Thank you Muggle1 and RoddyC for your fantastic efforts.
This was our ninth encounter and are collecting information to help us find the TTT Mystery. Almost let it slip away but balanced and kept hold.
Great Camo. Very well done and a big thanks to those involved in the design, manufacture and placement.
This was our first geomuster, and I must say that I was quite overwhelmed initially, as designated data person, to be entering coords as we were driving along, so I didn't have time to relax and enjoy the journey until all coords were entered.
We participated with our friends Little Squirell. I hope they log these finds on GCA, as they are not avid Geocaching Australia members.
There was lots of fun and frivolity as Mrs Squirell read the e cache descriptions, and many funny escapades and photos ensued.
Thankyou RoddyC and the rest of the QOGM 2019 team for such a fun afternoon.
