Description

This cache is part of QOGM 2019's Turd Trail along the Neverfail Road. We trust you enjoy a caching experience with a little difference.

I read an article called Embarrassing English Errors Ep17 – Turd & Third, and thought - "could have a bit of fun with that!"
Hence the development of this series.  It is just meant for a bit of fun.
All caches are actual cow pats which have been dried naturally, and coated with varnish for preservation. Please treat with care so others can enjoy the fun.

The cache is not at the published coordinates.  It is not possible to get to those coordinates, as they are on private property.

To locate the coordinates for this cache, you need to find eight letter/number combinations hidden randomly in the sixteen caches of The Turd Trail.  Your cache coordinates therefore are:
S24 1A.BCD E146 2W.XYZ

So now that you have now completed The Turd Trail, it is time to reward yourself!

Grab yourself a Certificate to proudly display on your Trophy Wall.  Contact RoddyC - the CO - for an electronic link to download your personalized Certificate

Not a DNF for us but more a could not look because we were unable to find all the clues due to damaged and missing caches. We do hope this does not mean the end of this fun series.

Full time nomads since 2013. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.

Today we headed out to complete the Heartland and Mailbox series. 250km round trip out of Blackall. We saw several graders, water trucks and rollers out on the roads. Also lots of cattle, Emu's with chicks, Kangaroos.and a white faced Heron.

Queensland Outback Geomuster 2019 trip to Blackall. Day 4. Today was my first day of organised events I joined Baby&MrsGopher, Au.fait and Trekker Trev. The highlight of the day was the series of caches in the morning with a unique flavor. I hope they eventually get published in one form or another. The afternoon was spent around Tambo before the evening get together at the pub. Two evening caches were visited before a longish drive home.

Thanks.

Yes, we did it. Another Degree completed. We five in the car (Mickeyspikey, Grumpy Bumpy and his Partner, TBU2Uwe001 and me) had a lot of fun!

Early October, we attended the QOGM events in Blackall. As part of the fun, we did this Turd Degree. It was great, and we could not believe that in earlier times these containers were natural Turd.

It's a perfect camouflage in that area, and we loved it.

Could imagine how much work went into these containers! Awesome!

Sorry for the generic log RoddyC, but not only saves me writing, if I could remember individual caches, but it saves you reading too.

Found while attending QOGM 2019. A brilliant series of caches whose descriptions and names were obviously written by someone with a sharp, (or should that be warped?) mind/sense of humour. Very clever play on words at each cache. Thanks for these great caches RoddyC and 1Muggle (creating these caches must have been such fun for you!!!

Attending the QOGM event 2019 we teamed up with Cache Hunters to complete the Turd Trail.

The culmination of gathering the correct information led us to this final. Appears we are masters of turdology.

Many thanks RoddyC,1muggle and QOGM2019 for publishing and creating this cache and adding to our geocaching experience. A memorable trail that we all enjoyed.

Does not matter who puts the first log in on this series. I hope all the Geocachers who found the original 16 are members or will join GCA to claim the golden smiley
for the series, especially the lucky people who were given the right to claim to find on individual hides. I was part of the placement team for the series and we had a laugh and a ball placing these.

Found during QOGM 2019 on the muster trail. Thankfully we had the right numbers and attained our degree Very HappyClappingDancing , without having to go to the University of the Third Age. Smile Completed the trail that Neverfailed to disappoint, with a unique combination of descriptions and containers Whistle Thanks for all the committee and RoddyCs efforts in getting it established and listed. We all enjoyed the trail, the youngest especially. Stopped for lunch under a tree just past the final then continued onto Tambo via an EC.

What a pleasure it is to finally log our finds on this series.
Having collected all required information along the trail, we did a quick calculation to find ourselves at GZ.

This was our first geomuster, and I must say that I was quite overwhelmed initially, as designated data person, to be entering coords as we were driving along, so I didn't have time to relax and enjoy the journey until all coords were entered.
We participated with our friends Little Squirell. I hope they log these finds on GCA, as they are not avid Geocaching Australia members.
There was lots of fun and frivolity as Mrs Squirell read the e cache descriptions, and many funny escapades and photos ensued.
Thankyou RoddyC and the rest of the QOGM 2019 team for such a fun afternoon.

TFTC,

It is the 31.10.19 and I am finally able to log a found for the GC TTT Mystery. I needed all the caches to be published so that I could claim that I obtained all the information required to locate and sign this log.

A big thanks to all involved in the design, layout and construction of the T's. Each and every one has a unique tale to shake and now that the series have been published as GCA caches, the twists and turns to reach the stage where you receive your Graduation Certificate has reached a very special level.

There were 4 of us in the Geo mobile for today's outing and all had a turn at toying with the product was used as a raw material to form such amazing cache containers.

Had a great trip into the Thrid World.
