Samboo's Fav Picnic Places - LOL Park Tugun, Queensland, Australia

Another of my favourite picnic spots, you could call this one a legendary park.

In this park you'll hear LOL - Lots of Laughter, because it has an amazing playground. The sign might say Tugun Park but its also called Land of Legend park after the fairy tale castle which used to be next door..

We like to come here with Grandma, Aunty Seona, Suzy and Pete, and have afternoon tea. Sometimes Seona brings some baked goods, sometimes Suzy cooks. We always have a cup of tea, because that's what Grandma likes to drink.

Apart from the amazing playground which has three slippy slides - two of which are really really tall, the park has lots of tables, it has four BBQs, toilets, and a boiling water dispenser so you could have lots of tea and coffee. The Southern Beaches Community Garden is nearby if you would like to see what grows well. Plus, sometimes you see the planes either landing or taking off from the airport. Peter really likes this bit.

The cache is hidden at our favourite table in our favourite shelter. Its at the back of the park, away from the playground itself and we found the shelter is usually never busy even when there are birthday parties in the playground.
