Well, finally had a day to go and do some caching and had some good weather!!!!
The plan was to get the cache "Shale Cliff" and some puzzles that had been solved around Ulverstone, then on to Penguin, and hopefully a few around Devonport on the way home. Was up early and out the drop before 6. The drive to Devonport was fairly boring with the GeoKids, as we had done this road so many times before, but worth it considering the goal.
We hadnt planned getting any GCA caches, but our target was for 50 GC caches to get my yearly tally to 500 and total GC to 5500. Luckily I was successful in this

We needed a find today to fill a gap on our dragon zone calendar. We've had this one on the radar for a while so decided this was the day. A few spots fitted the hint but we made a fairly quick find of a good sized cache. Thanks DEZ055 for the cache
Needed a cache for a blank calendar day, so headed along the coast.
The gps accuracy was 7m at best...so not much help..though soon honed in on the more likely spot.
Cache and contents in top condition.
Many TFTC DEZ055...cheers ST.

Last Night we did a quick check of a few caches we have in the penguin area. This cache is still well hidden and waiting to be found.
Parked in front of a very interesting campervan/bus and walked down the trail to the rocky beach. Nearly every bush there fitted the clue but the cache was quickly found in a fairly obvious place.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Out and about taking advantage of double points day today.
Cache was soon spotted and our names added to the log book. Cache and contents in good condition.
Many thanks dezo55 for publishing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience.

Pulled up behind a paddy wagon in the parking bay but no police in sight so headed off over the train track to look for this cache. We trod carefully in the area covered with creepers as there is evidence of recent penguin occupancy. Again good coordinates soon had us locating the cache container. A quick sign and rehide and we were on our way. The container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for another cache in the Penguin area DEZ055. We haven't stayed at the Seascape Holiday home but have heard that it is very popular during the summer holidays.

Hi dez055
A trip, today, which took in Launceston, Burnie and other NW Coast places saw me drive 815 km for a total of 15 caches including two FTFs
Collecting these caches, I walked a total of 6.46 km using 8084 steps while burning 1675 calories
This cache was my tenth for the day and was a very quick find
It was Sainted at 1411 hours
Was surprised that no other names were in the log by now; so again, a big thank you for the *FTF*
LOVE Penguin
TFTC and cheers
