A cache placed for the 2020 Game of Games
Notley Fern Gorge #1
Notley Fern Gorge is a remnant patch of rainforest.
Take a walk among the eucalypts that tower above the rainforest understorey.
A 1.5 kilometre track weaves past moss covered rocks and ferns.
Toilet and picnic facilities are availble.
Cache is a regular cammoed sistema container with logbook and swaps please bring your own pen.

While on the way to pick up my ute from Legana we called into the Notley gorge area to find the 3 caches.
Waited for the parks rangers to leave then wandered up into the bush towards this one. Once at gz we found the cache a tad buried under bark but everything was dry inside. Signed the log then headed for 2 & 3. TFTC

Dez055 asked me to take him to Legana today to pick up his Ute from getting work done to it. We decided to make a detour on the way and grab the three caches in the area.
Once the three parks rangers departed we wandered along looking for this one. Found in good order. Signed the log, replaced and moved on to the next cache. TFTC

Out and about caching for the battleship games and this was one we found. A nice quick find. TFTC

Nice easy start to our geocaching today, we walked around Notley Fern Gorge finding Gc & Gca’s for a nice outing. Not a single person around here which was really nice to enjoy the place to ourselves

After working around home this morning we headed to Launceston for an afternoon appointment. As we had plenty of time we decided to go via Notley Gorge. We hadn't been here for a while but always enjoy the walks.
We stopped on the way in to look for this cache. Good coordinates soon had us close by and Mrs Y'stassie was delighted that nature had provided a small step that enabled her to access the cache container. She was delighted to find the log blank giving us {FTF} at 12:50. All was well with container and contents.
