Description

This cache has been hidden as part of the 2020 Game of Games

Now that the road has been altered, I have often seen cars just parked here. Today I stopped and I was the only car. I would expect the cars would be parked so the occupants can go for a stroll, take the dog for a walk, plane spot or go to the beach for a swim.

I stopped to hide a cache, what else will you do here after finding the cache?

Please watch out for creepy crawlies.

There is room to pull off near GZ.

After a bright and early start to have an onslaught on some southern caches we left well before daylight negotiating the fog, icy conditions and the odd slow driver to make our way to sorell after grabbing some caches there we made our way down towards Port Arthur to find most of the caches in the area, the view from the Eaglehawk lookout was brilliant. Met up with Oldsaint near the golf course where he needed assistance to turn the hazards off on his Ranger. At the second last cache in the area we meet up with Goose and Stainless Steel Rat, after a catch up and discussing some caching we headed off for seven mile beach where we located all but one of the caches we had targeted in the area.
then continued onwards to Sanford to find the rest of Whitewebbs MMMM games caches and a few others that were close by. Needing to be in New Town at 5 to pick up a heater we stopped in at Rosny Hill to grab the caches there to fill in some time, all were located and solved. After loading the heater onto my ute we decided that was enough caching for the day and headed back north arriving home around 10pm.

Stopped in and grabbed this one on our way past, quick easy find hadd our names in the logbook, TFTC

As we head down to South Arm for a bit of caching we stopped on the way to grab a few. This was one we chose and a quick find was made at GZ. There was a car parked very close to GZ but luckily no one was in it. There was a very strong ant smell at GZ and one of the little blighters hitchhiked back to the van with us. But spotted him and flicked him off thank heavens.
Thanks for the cache.

Hello whitewebbs, thanks for the cache. All good at GZ.
As you know, I turned up at Events at Mayfield Beach and then Swansea today; it's always good to catch up.
Earlier I was too early to meet up with my co-conspirators at 7mile Beach, so I gathered two local finds and still had some fiddle time!
This was my second find this morning, after finding your nearby GC PittStop.
Interestingly, my weekends finds started and ended with a pit stop! Surprised
Cheers, EPs.

Thanks for the cache Whitewebbs. Decided I should clean up a few local caches today, so grabbed this one with the GeoGSP as we headed up to town today. Usually when I pass this spot, I'm walking the GeoGSP, and yes, I find it weird that there are often single cars parked along this part of the closed road, given that there are formed car parks close by. Cache is all safe and sound and in good condition.

This was one of the caches we had on our list for today's trip south. There were two cars parked nearby but no occupants. We spotted a likely hiding spot but followed our GPS, bad idea as GPS decided to go round in circles and jump all over the place. After poking and prodding a few clumps of cutting grass we decided to check the spot we noticed when we got out of the car. Sure enough the cache was found. After signing and replacing we checked the out of control GPS and it read 0. Sometimes it pays to ignore it and follow cacher instinct.

Thanks for another cache in this area Whitewebbs. Container and contents were in good condition.

Hello whitewebbs thank you for the cache.

This was yet another day I wanted to find a cache.

After finding another one of your caches I continued to walk along the road, across the end of the runway to this one. It was a bit farther than I thought but did get to watch a couple of planes go over head.

The cache was easily found.

We needed to do a check on a fir trees cache, so it was a great opportunity to grab this one as well. Then we took the opportunity to enjoy another piece of the nearby beach. TFTC.

We were on our way home from the city and decided to check if this cache had been found yet. We were surprised it hadn't been logged so we made a small diversion to gz. Once there the cache was quickly located. TFTC
