Description

Seems it is the season for lavender in New Zealand and probably Australia. There are many stalls at markets and a drive in the countryside usually means you go past  fields full of lavender flowers. To log this cache all you need is a photo and the coordinates of a field of lavender in bloom.

This lavender field is in my backyard, the lavender does smell beautiful and it attracts bumble bees and honey bees galore.

Bridestowe Lavender Farm in Tasmania. We visited here on a day that couldn't decide if it wanted to be rainy or sunny. The flowers were blooming and the smell was amazing.

The field that gave me the idea for the cache. People were enjoying walking through it and the perfume.

I found this lovely lavender field at Tasmazia, at the Village of Lower Crackpot, at Promised Land, near Nowhere Else.
Yes they are all real places and definitely worth visiting.
And we visited on the right day when the lavender fields were in bloom.
We weren’t able to get up close to smell the lavender though as they had a sign up asking visitors not to disturb the bees that were very busy in the area.
Thanks for the cache and the FTF Corunnaroad
