Today I was working at Oatlands on a farm and on my way back north I needed to stop for a lunch break so what else to do than grab some caches.
I had never been up this road so didn’t know what to expect.
I pulled up opposite this one as I walked over the cache was sitting out in the open so once signed I place back in its hiding place with better covering. TFTC

As we had finished finding all the pirate treasure around Royal George early we had time to come and stop at Before the Climb. Then we made the climb

Think the colour of this one would have made it an easy spot if it had not had a large piece of camouflage in front of it.
After dealing with this cache Mr Beetle would have liked to explore this road further but the motorhome might not have been a very suitable vehicle for that so we turned around here and headed back to the highway.
What a quiet road, didn't see a vehicle or a muggle, just a mob of sheep.
Thanks, our first GCA cache on this caching foray south.

Grabbed this cache while in the area doing the GC cache run. Forgot to log this at the time, so catching up now.
Went passed the cache location and had to back down to the GZ.

Heading south and noticed an unfound blip on our screen. Time for a short diversion from our planned route to change this to a find.
All was quiet along Old Tier Road this morning and we noticed a brightly coloured object as we pulled up near GZ. Glad we checked it out before starting our hunt as it was indeed the cache container. Grumpy occupant of the nearby hole may have been the culprit. Replaced the container where we thought it should be and blocked access with a rock.
Thanks for the cache Old Saint. We enjoyed the little detour.

A day out for double points started on the Paradise Peninsula, Sandford then down to Tasman Peninsula and off to the middle of Tasmania to Tunbridge, (well almost) and back to Oatlands for tea with muggle Mum and Tassie Trekkers. That was foiled due to everything being shut on the public holiday. Had to resort to a monte carlo biscuit and thermos coffee! Good to catch up with family, swap some moveables and find some caches. A nice drive up the Old Tier Road. Thanks for adding to the others. TFTC
