Description
Of Uralla's three wetlands, Dangars Lagoon is the largest.
A wetland is an area that's wet for a period of time. Water levels in Dangars Lagoon vary dramatically from season to season though despite this there are many bird varieties that call it home. Twitchers may recognise Great Crested Grebes, Blue-billed Ducks and Whiskered Terns. Swamp Harriers and Whistling Kites can also be spotted, while Nankeen Night Herons roost in the dead trees. In nearby paddocks Stubble Quail, Fairy Wrens or Golden Headed Cisticolas may be seen.
Please recover the cache so that it doesn't become twitched as well.
Congratulations karsen - FTF

#GA5207 - 15:50; Day 11 of a road trip with Sol de lune for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega and we are now headed for home. After spending the night in Glen Innes, we headed south caching our way through Ben Lomond, Guyra, Armidale and on to Uralla. Enjoyed the $10 lunch special at the Thunderbolt Inn before tackling the local Adventure Lab a few more of the local caches. Stopped off for this cache as we headed towards Walcha, trying not to frighten the birds! TFTC geono.

The grass was a tad long here but we soon had the cache in hand. No one around today so no issues around GZ.
Thanks for another one geono...

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 5. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we moved north to Armidale, but no in a straight line. There was a chance to get a few GCA caches along the way.
