Description
Hidden to qualify for the 2020 January Games
Lane Cove was hidden on the 18th May 2000 which made it the first geocache on Australian soil. Geocaching Australia had a small celebration in 2010 called the 10th Anniversary of Geocaching in Australia. 20 years after the first Australia geocache was placed we are now marking the 20th anniversary of Geocaching in Australia. To help celebrate the 20th anniversary of Geocaching in Australia, the 2020 team at Geocaching Australia have worked together to create the 2020 Game of Games rewards which are 12 monthly games based on finding and hiding geocaches at Geocaching Australia.
To qualify for January 2020 you will need to:
- Hide and publish 3 geocaches.
- Geocache type must be traditional.
- The geocache size must be regular or large.
- The hidden date must be in the game month.
- The published date must be in the game month.

A morning detour for a few caches on the way to Burnie ........ and an excuse for coffees at the Berry Patch. Found quickly enough in a convenient place on a road we take very infrequently. Thanks for your cache Trimletas

Hi Trimbletas...a quick find with accurate coords. Cache is all ok.
I used to jog up this road for running training when living at Turners Beach. Nice circuit up to Kindred Rd and back along Forth Rd. Was gravel back then.
Many Tftc...most appreciated...cheers ST.

Thank you for the nice cache. It was found on a two day geocaching visit to the North West
We needed a find today to fill a gap on our dragon zone calendar so headed out to try to find this one. We'd never driven out this road before so always good to see somewhere new. A quick find at GZ with the aid of a great hint. Thanks for the cache Trimbletas
Headed off today to find 8 GCA caches around the Ulverstone Penguin area. This was the closest to home so the first tackled.
Had the clue worked out before leaving and managed to pull up right next to GZ.
Lots of smelly ants near GZ but for once I didn't bring any freeloaders back to the car with me.
Thanks, a quick easy find to start our caching day.

Last night we went out for a drive to find some caches to get us on the board for the February games and this was one we targeted.
we parked right beside the suspect hiding place and when we walked around the other side there was the cache, signed the log and on we went. TFTC

We normally would have approached this one from the highway end of Stubb's Road however our GPS liked the approach from Kindred Road. We hadn't been this way for a while so enjoyed seeing the developments that have occurred since our last trip this way.
There were a few cars parked on the road side just above GZ, possibly belonging to guests attending a party just up the road. We had no trouble locating the object mentioned in the hint although it appears to have grown an extra trunk since publication of the cache.
The cache container and contents were in very good condition and a blank log book provided us with our third {FTF} for the day at 19:07
Thanks for this cache Trimbletas. it enabled us to successfully complete one of our research tasks. The terrain rating could possibly be higher as the searcher has to go down the bank - not a task for someone in a wheel chair.
