Description
Hidden to qualify for the 2020 January Games
Lane Cove was hidden on the 18th May 2000 which made it the first geocache on Australian soil. Geocaching Australia had a small celebration in 2010 called the 10th Anniversary of Geocaching in Australia. 20 years after the first Australia geocache was placed we are now marking the 20th anniversary of Geocaching in Australia. To help celebrate the 20th anniversary of Geocaching in Australia, the 2020 team at Geocaching Australia have worked together to create the 2020 Game of Games rewards which are 12 monthly games based on finding and hiding geocaches at Geocaching Australia.
To qualify for January 2020 you will need to:
- Hide and publish 3 geocaches.
- Geocache type must be traditional.
- The geocache size must be regular or large.
- The hidden date must be in the game month.
- The published date must be in the game month.

A drive today with Geo Kid O, with dual main purposes, to find enough points to qualify for the highest souvenir and to find a reverse cache to complete a challenge on GCA.
The day was a success with both purposes being achieved. No showers of any note made everything almost perfect. TFTC the cache

Appears the Cache container has gone missing!! Replaced with new cache container and log book. Please re-hide as found as this will ensure the longevity of the cache.
At gz the gpsr was adamant about 1 spot...couldn't see any other likely places either after looking all around.
Will send photo to CO.
Cheers ST.

Have cached in this area not that long ago.
When we pulled up I thought that we were going to have to cross the wire fence but that didn't seem right so I just poked around till I found the cache. By then the GPS had settled and the coordinates were quite accurate.
Thanks.

We had intended to leave this cache until later but once started decided to finish. It was an interesting drive through the farm lands as the cloud was very low giving the area an eerie appearance.
Again we reached the end of the road and were able to park close to the hide. We were glad one of us looked at her GPS before we both started to head down the bank - unnecessary.Coordinates were spot on. What a neat hide! Container and contents were in good condition and the log book was blank. Another {FTF} at 18:50.
Thanks for this cache Trimbletas. We really enjoyed our trip up here in the mist.
