Feeling Gassy - Avenue of Honour Circuit
A small geocache (200ml) waits for you at this location.
Meander along the Lerderderg River, swing left at the pumping station, and walk alongside the market gardens to meet the renowned Bacchus Marsh Avenue of Honour. Enjoy the beautiful elm trees on your return to the picnic ground. The total length of this circuit is 2.9km and there is adequate on-site parking for your stroll. All up your walk should take around 2 hours finding the many geocaches as you walk.

Today we're making our way from Ballarat to Geelong, caching and adventure labbing as we go. We've been wanting to have a go at this circuit ever since it was published and today's the day, finally. We found ten of the twelve with coordinates spot on and useful hints. We'll have to come back some time in the future to try the other two again. TFTC
It was an absolute pleasure to find the caches around Moon reserve.
The containers were clean, full of swag for swaps and the co ordinates accurate. It was so enjoyable walking and finding them. It felt like the good old days of caching -when I first joined.
I will definitely do more GCA caches in the future.
Only a slight smell of gas today thank goodness.

Wasn't sure what we'd find here so had a laugh when the search area was reached. Had hoped for an old gas mask but no not this time.

Out and about finding our weekly research task requirements and this newly published series had several that met our needs. We set off on the circuit finding this one and a blank log book @ 13.50 hrs [*FTF*] #14
Accurate co ordinates and hint led to a quick find. Enjoyed the walk and exploring an area not visitd before.
