Description
Logs
We were too early for the cheese so we checked out Porky’s Beach. Lots of cool seaweed here and of course the corresponding smells to go with them.
When planning our trip we noticed that there were several newish hides on the island so made sure they were on our list.
We had hoped to visit the cheese factory but it is still closed due to COVID and the reduction in visitors.
What a pretty little beach. We were glad that the local car hire firm allows their cars to be driven on all roads and tracks on the island. The only no no being the beachs.
Good coordinates made for a quick find of a well hidden cache container however the effect of being close to the sea has resulted in the container suffering major corrosion particularly around the lid. A blank log gave us a {FTF} at 9:25.
Thanks for this cache Trimbletas and for bringing us to Porky Beach. We had to smile at the gate decorations nearby.
