Description
Take a photo of somebody lying down on the job
A fun Locationless to add a bit of humour, or you could take it in a totally serious way, whatever takes your fancy.
This topic was instigated by watching a fun activity this weekend and seeing someone take a totally different approach to the job in hand.
I'm looking for some fun photos here.
You can enter as many times as you like but only if there is at least one other log between your entries.

On one of our trips through Bourke we were staying at Kidman Camp. Our friends water tank in their van was leaking. After getting a part, MrT headed under the van to fix it... or have a nap... who knows! TFTC

Glad my staff know what geocaching is and agreed to play along!

Today while installing a steering system into side by side buggy the young guy helping us found it easier to lay on his back while running cabling in. TFTC
Mr y'stassie has a spinal issue which prevents him standing for more than a minute at a time. So when the lawn edges need attention cannot stand to use a lawn edger of whipper-snipper. So he lays down on the grass and uses some battery powered clippers to trim the edges. It may be slow, but at least the job gets done. A photo is included with this log. It is anticipated that surgery in earlt February 2024 will fix the spinal issue and after recuperation, lawn edges can be tackled in a more conventional manner.
I was on my way to hide a geocache and it was easier to lie down and row TFTC

Here I was looking for GC6JH6W Sheffield Cemetery. Hint indicated it was hanging about 30 cm above the ground. I took the opportunity to lay down on the job.

Hi Cybergran
On a caching trip with some mates, I got challenged to do a plank next to the edge
They didn't think I would, so I did!
This is OldSaint "lying down on the job" on the top of Cathedral Rock
The last picture shows the drop I was next to
TFTC and cheers

Lying down on the job.....caching job that is. Trying to find a cache under a viewing platform and when the space is tight I tend to lie down every so often. As you say, all a bit of fun and nothing serious.
Thanks for another one Cybergran V.

Harriet Island in the Burnett River Bundaberg CBD reach. A group of us tackled the multiple hides on the island and we waited for
low tide and walked over. Very Muddy along the edge of the island. We only had 2 hours to get there and back to the shore but we left it a little late and nearly had to swim back . TFTL

I probably could have snapped the first to find here, but I was having a lay down.
It's something I've been caught out at recently too.
After attending GC8HC77 - 9 Months to the Event in Whittlesea - Shepparton, I changed into some more appropriate attire and attempted the nearby cache on the fountain. "T5 Temptation"
Fortunately dalerious had kindly offered to loan me one of his TOTTs so that made it possible for me and a few others to gain access to the log.
When paddling my canoe I tend to use a longer, double paddle so using oars is not a technique that I am overly familiar with. I'm sure others use a much different style to me
Thanks for the cache (oh, and I may have pirated your pic too) Cybergran V

A caching buddy trying to check if the cache we were going for is under the nearby bridge. This approach was needed as there were lots of people using the bridge

At an event this weekend there was an inflatable boat with oars made available to cachers who wished to attempt a short row to a nearby geocache attached to a fountain in the lake.
The first attempt was by a woman who hadn’t rowed a boat for over 30 years and she did an admirable job.
But the second try was the most unusual method of boat rowing I have ever seen. This geocacher rowed the boat lying on his back! Definitely lying down on the job.
In fact at one stage he was just lying there with the oar held aloft as if he was hoping it would catch some breeze and use it as a sail!
Somehow he did manage to complete his mission and provided much entertainment to the hecklers who didn’t.
Thanks for the highlight of the event
