Take a Scouting or Guiding photo on Founder’s Day 22nd February
Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell started the Boy Scout movement, and with his sister Agnes founded the Girl Guide movement.
Both Lord Baden-Powell and his wife Olave celebrated their birthdays on the 22nd February.
On this day throughout the world scouts and guides celebrate this occasion in many different countries, and in many different ways.
Your task is to take a scouting or guiding related photo on this day, but not a scout or guide hall as there are already Locationless geocaches for this purpose.

We have all been involved in the scout movement for a number of years. Mum was in guides and Dad was in scouts and both became scout leaders. Mum is now the treasurer for our local group and Dad is the cub scout leader. Our eldest son has been in Joey's for just under a year and all the kids have attended a number of scouting events in an unofficial capacity.
Here is a photo of a recent overnight hike we did from Horsnby to Berowra theough two days of mostly constant rain. Even scouts need to be taught how to tie a shoelace occasionally!

The photo I chose is us setting up for "Thinking Day" (Guides), this is a really special day for us at Port Mac Guides, as it was our 1st 'family' camp. It went great with over 60 people attending... needless to say it was quite a success.

Thought I couldn't go past this one without actually including BP himself in the photo
I (Judi) was a Brownie, a Guide (achieving a Queens Guide Award), and a Brownie Leader. My Guiding experience was for over 30 years. Greg was a Scout Leader and achieved the Wood Badge. Our photo is of my Guide uniform, still intact ( but no hope of fitting).
OK its an old photo but this is me in my brownie days. Happy "Thinking day."

Having both been Scout Leaders dalerious and I celebrated Baden-Powell’s birthday by finding a cache OMCT - Scouts in Wangaratta this morning.
