Description
Take a photo of a penny farthing bicycle.
Bonus points if someone is riding it at the time.
Riders look so elegant when they are astride these old fashioned contraptions.
I've never had the opportunity to ride one of them, and since I've lost my balance, it wouldn't be a sensible thing to attempt.
I believe there are clubs around for those who own a penny farthing bike to be able to have joint adventures, and you occasionally see them ridden in street parades.
Good luck in finding one.
I look forward to seeing who claims FTF honours.

A trip inland heading to Victoria. We side tracked and went to visit the artwork in Brockelhurst NSW. A penny farthing made out of farming machinery. Very creative.

Well this was a bit of luck.
Always wanted to ride one myself.
Don't think this will happen on this one.
Not a bad pub to visit too!

I am starting to be convinced that the best way to hide something is to place it in the open in full view to all. I became aware of this cache about 6 months ago and have been thinking about penny farthings. I have driven past and been a front seat passenger in a car driving past this one on numerous occasions and have never seen until I drove past for the second time today. it was only because I saw a Beeza GA11618 and had to stop and turn around that I saw this penny farthing. Two unexpected caches for the price of one.

We had forgotton that there was a penny farthing bicycle on the top of a retail shop in Ulverstone - a bike shop of course. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks Cybergran V doe the cache.
I spotted this penny farthing bicycle among a few others, at the Lost Trades fair held at Ascot at Bendigo.
The lady with is the owner and she told me that she is part of a group that ride them regularly.
I wouldn’t fancy riding one around Bendigo since it is so hilly.

We spotted this "stylized" penny farthing in Manangatang on the 8th of March 2020
I'm not sure exactly what it's purpose is, perhaps a bike rack, public art or just a statement on the speed of the locals.
Thanks for the cache Cybergran V.
I have a pic of a bloke riding a penny farthing, somewhere here...
