Thanks everyone for attending this event. Hopefully next Easter will be family friendly again.
With all the family in either Sydney or Melbourne it was just the two at home. Completed a few jigsaws, including this Easter one, while having the couple of eggs we allowed ourselves. (Got stop the grazing during this lock down time or it won't be a pretty sight on the other side.)
Thanks Thomo31.....good idea for and event.

Easter still happened this year, but very different.
No camping, no Mega, no caches, oh wait, lots of virtual caches instead.
Still time for Hot X Buns every day, but that's the last of them.
TFTC Thomo31,

Spent Easter with the geo daughter, Good Friday lunch, then rest and lots of chocolate when the Easter bunny came. Easter Sunday nights with FaceTime stories from her aunt. All round a pretty good Easter.
The first Easter we've spent at home since attending SA's Mega at Murray Bridge. This year it was to be at Millicent with an extended trip to WA. It might be a dramatically different format but at least we still get to attend an Easter event with this virtual attendance. A very quiet but enjoyable weekend with the Easter staples, hot cross buns and chocolate, and some delightful handmade cards from the littlest grandkids. TFTE thomo31.

A stay at home Easter this year which is a good opportunity to get out the paint brush to catch up on some well needed painting work around the house.
The Easter cat delivered a nice array of eggs.
Thanks For the Virtual THOMO31.

A quiet Easter at home with the family this year. Spoilt by some surprise chocolates to sweeten the day!
Well I had hoped to be spending Easter in South Australia at a much bigger event than this, but unfortunately it was not to be, so I have resorted to the next best thing. Happy Easter everyone
Staying at home this easter feeeling quite weird as i am not out camping in SA, thanks for hosting this virtual event thomo31
Spending a stunning Easter Sunday in our new home. MusoSon has the BBQ going for a low and slow cooked Wagu Rump for dinner and I am spending time in the garden emptying old pots from long dead and neglected plants to ready them for new ones. A trip to Flower Power was had earlier to get some new edible plants like Basil, Coriander, Rosemary, Chives, Parsley and Thyme. GeoDogs Bertrum and Riker are enjoying the sunshine and barking hello at whoever walks past, little do they know they are both getting a bath later!
Wishing everyone a safe, happy and healthy Easter!

I painted this Easter Bunny and Cart when I did Ceramics back in the '80s/90s. Every Easter he hops out of the cupboard, and his cart is filled with little chocolates. MusoSon and TheUnicorn sent some choc eggs to us via the Bunny Express!
Lots of Chocolate to help keep us happy while stuck at home.
Happy Easter At Home everyone!

Happy Easter everyone.
I had to wait till after midnight to see if the Easter Bunny came amid all the Coronavirus pandemic. I was worried he migh5 have got it, or worse still myxomatosis.
It’s very pleasing to report that he did arrive at our house with chocolate goodies for us.
Thanks for the Event thomo31, so pleased to be able to attend.

About 30 years ago our elder daughter came out of school with a monster plush rabbit she had won at the school fair. The rabbit was taller than her and it was quite a struggle to carry it, along with her school bag, to the car. Initial mirth was replaced with "Where do we put something so big?" It was too big for the girls' bedroom. So the rabbit was placed in a high cupboard, being brought out each year to be the guardian of the Easter Eggs. Over the years we have made a number of attempts to relocate Bunny to our daughter but she always claimed that her flat was too small and we were not to get rid of Bunny. So, this year Bunny has made its annual appearance with the loot. A photo of Bunny sitting in a large chair is included with this log. Thanks thomo31 for the event.
The Easter Bunny did not miss the house, he did not stop but he came by and left as quickly as he arrived.

Easter 2020 with a bit of a difference to past years. No Easter Camp, no Church, no Geocaching (I still may set up my new adventure lab caches) and no visiting family. Even though this happens to be the case, the true meaning of Easter will never be silenced which is Jesus dying and on the third day ROSE from the grave to bring FREEDOM, from sin, to all!
One big question I am asked is: Why do people associate Easter with a Lamb? (Answer is in the photo)
Another is: Why do you believe in that fairy tale? My answer is: The most undisputed historic fact in history is that there was a man, named Jesus who claimed to be the Christ and Lord of all. He lived about 2000 years ago and on the week of the Passover, died on a cross next too, two criminals. Just as he died there was an earthquake and the sky went black at about 3pm on the Friday (which is now known as Good Friday) for about three hours. The other undisputed fact is that, on the third day his body was missing from the tomb that it was laid in. My question for you is: What do you believe happened to the body? I believe that on the third day he ROSE from the grave to bring FREEDOM, from sin, to all!
As for what I am doing over the weekend. Even though I am an essential worker (supermarket), I have opted to not work this 4 day weekend giving me a chance to recover from all this madness that has been happening. I will take this time to watch Easter messages online, cleaning my room and to rest up ready for next week plus hopefully setting up my new adventure lab caches. TFTE

First here at 8am-ish, ahead of the rush ... at least I'll be able to follow social distancing protocols without problems. I did bring some easter eggs with me to share ... however, I may have to move on soon otherwise I could get nabbed for loitering in the great outdoors without having an essential reason for being out of the house. Thanks for putting on this party thomo31.
