Description
Inspired by the self isolation imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, here is a cache you can find from home.
Our TOTT, or Tools Of The Trade, help us navigate our way through countless adventures. This stamp is a favourite of mine, it somehow adds significance to a find, and is fun to use with Letterbox caches. What is your favourite TOTT? To log this cache you need to submit a photo of your TOTT and at least part of your body. You should include why this is your favourite, and perhaps a war story of when you've used it.
This cache can only be logged once, but in your log you are welcome to post as many photos as you like.
Tip: Displaying Photos In Your Log
Geocaching Australia logs present a little differently to those you may be used to. The default is for you to need to view any uploaded photos by clicking the camera icon at the top right of each log entry. The following steps will enable your photos to be displayed directly in your log:
- Create your log and upload any images with it
- In your posted entry, click on the far right camera icon (view gallery)
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to see your thumbnail images and click on one to open a pop up image with the title and (click for details) underneath
- Follow the click for details link
- You now have 5 choices of code for embedding the image
- Copy the code for the second option: Cache/Web pages (HTML thumbnail with link) and return all the way back to the cache page
- Paste the code into your log by choosing the pencil icon (edit log)

Locationless Cache Wiki Information
Armchair style Locationless caches where the finder is not required to explore the real world, identify a location and accompany the 'Find' with photographic evidence are no longer accepted.
A Locationless cache listing must require the finder to locate an object or perform a task in the real world, collect the co-ordinates and log the find with accompanying photographic evidence.
The geocaching community would like to thank you for listing this Locationess geocache and congratulations to all that found this locationless geocache.
As the geocache no longer meets the requirements we will archive the cache listing.
Don't need anything else high tech but you do need to sign the log!
I like the ultra thin, writes on virtually every log.
Rain hail or shine.
Always keeping an eye out on the local supermarket placing the 12 pack on sale.

I have it with me every day so it is handy if I need it on a caching trip.
And over the years I have added many other TOTT's to my collection,
including an extendable ladder, torches etc etc.
TFTC Mister Doctor,
Roostaman
My favourite TOTT is a Wanderer 1000 Lumen Rechargeable Headlight.
Ruverbug Jam was at Anaconda and noticed these were on special, as they were discontinuing this model.
With only two left on the shelf she grabbed both of them.
It has seen many adventures since then.
Thanks for the cache Mister Doctor.
My favourite TOTT @ Home is definitely my lap top
I can keep in touch with friends and family
BUT more important (not really), it allows me to CACHE - without this I'd not be able to keep up with geocaching currency nor to keep my GPS loaded - IT'S THE CENTRE OF MY CACHING WORLD - I'm even logging this locationless with it
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint
That was a great lesson, 4 thumbs up. Just have to remember how to do it next time.
The TOTT that I probably use the most would be my humble pair of tweezers. They live in my wallet and have saved the day (or at least speeded things up) too many times to count. There seems to be so so many of those nanos, plastic tubes and even large logs in mint tins that need to be persuaded out.
TFTC !!
thanks Mister Doctor.
As well as being used on many geocaching adventures it has also been used 1) to cut a wire fence to release the leg of a trapped kangaroo joey, 2) to remove a fish hook from the beak of a gannet, 3) to adjust yacht fittings when out sailing and 4) many other tasks around our house.
My boys know that if a job needs to be done they can borrow Mum's Multi Tool.
Thank you Mister Doctor for this cache to keep us active during COVID-19 STAY AT HOME.
Torches are awesome! I got mine in the Boxing Day sales for $70. It’s 1000 lumens and is brilliant for night caches. I recently added a $4 laser pointer, as the UV torch that’s included is also a night cache winner.
My cache bag is another favourite. I added a carry strap and a few pathtags to a travel toiletries bag.
My cache bag houses a growing collection of essentials, including a pen, a stamp, simple swaps like stickers, spare log books, ziplock bags and tins, band aids, pocket knife, multitool, needle-nose pliers, extendable magnet tool with mirror and clip attachments, homemade shielded magnet on a line, autograph book for collecting Letterbox cache stamps, gaffa tape, gloves and hand sanitiser.
Roostaman put me on to having one of these with me as they are very useful. TFTL Mister doctor.
However for getting the logs out of those little nano's, I can go past the all in one.
Thanks for another locationless....
