Description

Have you been pining for a logbook to sign... ?

Well you're in luck. Here's the chance to sign your name in a locationless logbook without leaving home.

Lockdown Logbook is a celebration of geocaching during Covid-19.

A logbook as convenient as your backyard or balcony.

RULES FOR LOGGING:

  • To sign the logbook you need a photo of your geocaching name. Not just a simple signature on paper...no siree, we're talking creative! Use whatever materials you prefer for your name on whatever you want - sticks, paint, leaves, pebbles, chalk etc. It can be as simple as water on cement or a work of art. You can get the kids involved.
  • Things you can't use are - anything preprinted like stamps, flags, badges, pathtags (unless you use them as a medium to create your name) or usual caching gear OR photos previously used for the freedom version of this cache, Log on Australia (GA9697).
  • In your log answer this question - When this is over, one of the first things I'm going to do is...........
  • One log per caching team.

Just noticed this one. It is lucky my mum was a horder and she passed that trait on to me. I have lots of white buttons so my name is made from them. I do wish my name was shorter for this activity.
I have a bag full of white buttons but they don't all match. Some are faded and some are smaller etc. ClappingSmile

Have been trying to think of a unique way to do this one and today while putting away some plastic bread clips I thought why not??
Have a few hundred of these, which I keep and give to my mother every now and then.
Her church collects them and I think they're sent off to be made into wheelchair wheels. I'm not 100% sure about that though.
Anyway here's our caching name spelt in bread clips.
Thanks.

Great idea for something different.I have had these besser blocks for at least thirty years and the NGW (Non Geocaching Wife) has been on my back to do something with them.
So out to Bunnings for some supplies and a new garden bed and path is on the way.
I have been using the screws so why not use them to sign my name.
Thanks Geono for the cache. Dancing

I knew there was a reason I didn't keep my pathtags in folders. The Tue are Geocaching Australia tags, apart from one. Laid out on an old marble terrazzo in the kitchen.

When this is over, one of the first things I'm going to do is drive up to Mackay to visit my son. Thanks.

I had the LEGO sitting near my computer so this is a quick artwork.

When this is over I want to visit my son in Brisbane, if he doesn't visit us in Melbourne first.
Also I want to go caching more than 5km from home. (That's my current walking/bicycling limit).

Clever idea!

Well, I used the first thing I could think of, but needed 4 O's. There were exactly 4 that just happened to already be sitting on the table I wanted to use! Perfect! Destiny? haha. I even added the underscore that I usually leave out. haha
Thanks for the fun idea. Clapping

First thing I'm going to do? Go camping at a location with a good walk and cache.

When this is over we are going to the beach to sit and eat fish and chips
